Fast, courteous and didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary things. Vickers is my favorite vehicle maintenance or repair place in Woodland or Davis.

Vickers is always the place I take my car, even after moving to Sacramento. They are so fast, organized, and compassionate. I’ve been using them for almost 7 years and they consistently get me in faster and charge less than anywhere else!! On multiple occasions I’ve gone in for something quick and silly and they’ve fixed it at no cost so I’m 1000% always coming to them for my big ticket repairs as well. Love vickers!! Long live the family businesses’

I live in Sac and was in Davis for work when my battery light came on in my vehicle. I'm not overly familiar with this area, but I found Vicker's online and decided to give it a shot. Cindy was extremely kind and treated me very well. They didn't charge for the initial inspection, and once they identified that I needed a new alternator, they squeezed me in so I could get home safely today. They happened to have the part, and it took about an hour or so to have everything taken care of.

Do you need an HONEST mechanic who doesn’t charge ridiculous prices? This is a family owned business. They know their customers and take care of you. TEN STARS!

Fantastic service and job! Were kind and worked with us to figure out the problem. Gave good advice to prevent the problem in the future too. All the cost seemed reasonable and up front.Very busy and difficult to get an appointment, so may not be the best place for an emergency.

Looked for a tire repair shop at 4pm the day before July 4th to check why we had low tire pressure. They took a look and found a screw in the tread but weren't able to fix it before they closed and recommended a tire place down the street. They were very friendly and took the time to look at our tire. The lady at the front desk listened to our concerns and I appreciate that. Thank you to Vickers we got our dog home safely.

TLDR: When your dealership service center is trying to charge you an arm and a leg, take your car to Vickers for a second opinion! Better yet stop going to anyone else and go to Vickers!I normally take my car to the Hanlees Kia Service Center for my oil change. After this last appointment they told me my car needed a number of fixes including brake lights (which I swear I had just fixed) as well as hood hinge repairs. Basically these repairs plus the ones I haven't mentioned yet would cost me over $1500. I understand my car is older and needs more maintenance but I literally just did a pricey tune-up last year, so I was shocked by the price tag (and also the fact previous technicians who did my oil change never mentioned these repairs). Enter Vickers. I contacted a few local shops in Davis, and I was immediately won over by Vickers receptionist, Stevie. I have to say as a woman speaking with another woman I felt more at ease, if that makes sense. I unfortunately have this fear that male employees of auto shops may take advantage of women customers, like me, since I don't have much knowledge about cars and can be naïve sometimes. I did not feel this way here. Stevie put my mind at ease, listened to what I had to say and explained potentially what my car would need and the process. She was super knowledgeable! I brought my car in the next day and left it there. I did have some trouble finding the place, but it's tucked away behind the NAPA Auto parts. The technicians found that I do not need all of those repairs done. They found that my brake lights had been installed incorrectly the last time they were changed. They only charged me a service fee of $75 telling me my car is basically fine. Much less than the $1500 I might have paid had I gone to my dealership. Vickers has won a customer for life. Thank you for such great service!

Their abilities are so poor that they can only do simple things. More complex structures simply can't be repaired, and you'll just be wasting your time with them.

I have been coming to Vickers for over a year now, previously on my beat up Honda from the 90s and now on my 2019 Toyota Corolla. They have always had appointments available when I call & more times than not they remember who I am while setting up the appointment. As a woman with anxiety on whether or not a shop is taking advantage of me I can wholeheartedly say I trust these mechanics & the ladies at the desk with all their suggestions for what work needs to be done, which is typically just an oil change. I couldn't recommend coming here more if you want your car to keep running smoothly!!
