The townhomes are nice, but the biggest factor that makes this community so nice is Alan. He is swift and diligent with communication, which has made our move in a breeze. Alan is professional and friendly, and very accommodating to my fiancé and I who are both working professionals. Experiences with Alan are really reinforcing my pleasure with this community this far.

Worst neighborhood I've lived in!!!!!! No one in the office every single day, package got stolen twice and they don't help us to find it.

The community is nice however our unit had no hot water and the management refused to fix it!! Apparently several units in the complex have problems with no hot water.

Westwood is an awesome place to live. People are friendly and quiet. Having both stories and a outdoor patio is tough to beat. While the units and neighbors are nice it's really the management that makes this place worth it. I've only ever dealt with one guy, Shaun. He handles everything from the applications and tours to the general maintenance around the property. For me it's usually the management that determines if somewhere is a good place to live. I'm always worried that they take the cheapest way out, things are being held together by a thread, it takes weeks to get something fix. It's not the case at Westwood. It's a nice place to live because they care.I also really like the location. I can bike the the UC Davis ARC in 8-9 min. The ride feels safe as your only on a public road for 1/4 mile. Trader joes is crazy close. I bike to downtown at least once a week. Having a private patio to store my bike is a huge plus in Davis.

We just moved into Westwood and we are really happy about being here. The complex is nice and as a bonus you're right off highway 113 and only 5 minutes from downtown Davis. The office manager Shaun is awesome he's always available and extremely helpful.

Our stay at Westwood Townhome has been pleasant so far. The community is well managed and the interior was very clean when we moved in. The private patio is a plus and great for bike parking. But, like most apartments, the sound insulation could be improved. We can clearly hear our neighbors walking down their stairs and closing their front door from our living room. The location of the complex is near Highway 113. So the inner units may be exposed to the traffic noise.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee are the most professional landlord that I have ever met. They are courteous and efficient. If I have a choice, I would rather stay. I cannot find any landlord better than this couple. I enjoyed staying in Westwood Townhouse!

I've had a wonderful experience at Westwood. I've lived here for 5 years, throughout my graduate program. The complex is managed by a couple, Mr. and Mrs. Lee, who are on the property at least thee days/week. Because they manage just this complex, they're very speedy with repairs, and because you see them around all the time, they're very friendly and honest. The units are all well-maintained, and the whole property is very clean. It's a quiet complex that seems to have a lot of grad students, professionals, and young families. I'm not sure whether the walls are good or my neighbors were just quiet, but I never heard them. The only negative is that the pool isn't super well-maintained. It looks a little dirty, and the deck furniture is often broken. That does mean, though, that people are rarely in the pool, which means it isn't noisy, and when I wanted to tan or go for a swim, I usually had the pool all to myself.

Lived here for 3 years. The two managers are a married couple and can be a little schizophrenic and obsessive. A generally quiet neighborhood except for the annual Jewish frat party and the highway noise. When my friend joined me after a year here (and co-signed a new lease), the management insisted that they professionally clean the apartment. In theory, they wanted to "reset" the initial conditions that were present when I moved in to give my friend a "fair" start since he was sharing the security deposit. That was a strange, awkward day to have a bunch of professional cleaners raid the house, and being forced to pay for it. Their ultra strict insistence on...well all the cleaning and uniformity rules of the complex can be extremely irritating, but in general they are fair minded and deal with problems relatively quickly. The pool was always clean when I used it, which was at least once a week during summer.

When I first moved in, I thought the place was great. But soon I discovered the walls between the complexes are paper-thin. In mid-spring, we got an ant infestation, which the management tried to fix unsuccessfully. After scrubbing down our apartment for hours and leaving it in perfect condition, the management insisted we pay a $160 cleaning fee regardless. The pool looked nice when I visited, but soon I also realized it is never cleaned and full of algae. The highway noise is also not ideal. After living here for a year, I would not recommend this complex to others.
