Zeer mooi hotel met propere ruime kamers. Ventilatie in badkamer maakt heel veel lawaai. Het zwembad en jacuzzi zijn een plus. Parkeren is gratis en bij het ontbijten heb je zicht op zee.

Quiet little hotel, a short jaunt from local restaurants, shopping, and the beach. We had an ocean view room on the second floor, which was just okay. The view was obscured by trees and you definitely can't hear the ocean from there. The hotel is quite dated in appearance, but the amenities are nice and the bathrooms are modern. The cleaning staff was very nice. The pool area is lovely, it is not ocean side. The hotel was quiet and in a good location, so that is good enough for me. There is a restaurant on site where you can purchase breakfast and dinner. I do recommend staying at this hotel as long as you don't mind having an obscured ocean view.Walkability: We walked to every meal, which was usually about a mile or a little less. Very walkable in our opinion.

Came here for a mini staycation. Room was clean, comfortable, and cute. Small kitchenette was nice to have. Spacious bathroom with double vanity and large shower. We had a tiny balcony with ocean view, although the ocean view rooms are also directly above the parking lot. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast at the cafe, the breakfast sandwich was good. Nice budget friendly option for a Del Mar Hotel near the ocean! We walked to the village shops and dinner at Jake's (about 20 minute walk). Would recommend if looking for a more affordably priced hotel in the San Diego area.

I was in town for a seminar and I stayed three nights. The room was incredibly clean! The housekeeping staff are all friendly and pleasant. All the front desk staff are also lovely. A special thank you to Kat, (I am actually posting this review on her birthday, so happy birthday Kat!) Kat, thank you for being so helpful, you are wonderful!!

Great location! The area is very walkable and close to a lovely strip of restaurants and shops. It’s a bit of a walk to get to the beach but if you drive you’d be there in minutes. Free parking, great pool and hot tub, and a cute cafe if you want to eat on the property. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and our rooms were super clean! Great stay overall.

For a one night romantic getaway, this is The Spot. World Class Customer Service and the entire facility from check-in to our room to the outdoor Café and pool seating areas were so well cleaned and maintained.Even though we arrived just after 12 noon, a full 3½ hours before check-in, we were allowed to park our car in the rear parking lot and given a courtesy key to use the café restroom and enjoy the pool area and jacuzzi while waiting for our room to be ready.Because of the excellent location of the Hotel, we were able to take a long leisurely stroll down to the scenic overlooks, and through the local neighborhoods and parks, eventually returning along the main drag, and checking out the plethora of amazing restaurants and shoppes. After a nice rest in our room and refreshing ourselves we again took advantage of the location to walk down to a local Mexican restaurant for dinner and drinks, and enjoyed the sunset from the Little Orphan Alley, adjacent to the hotel. All in all, it was worth every penny to get away from the mundane, rest, relax and be treated to such wonderful world-class Service.I think we'll be back again at some point, soon.Rooms: While not as spacious as one might hope, for the price, the rooms was absolutely wonderfully clean and fresh, as was the bathroom and closet. We were thoroughly pleased.Nearby activities: So much to do within walking distance, shopping, dining, sightseeing or beach-related. The racetrack, as well as legendary Torrey Pines golf course and State Natural Reserve are less than 10 minutes down the street.Safety: The parking lot and property are all well lit, and felt totally secure, to me.Walkability: There are probably at least 100 different things to see and do within a short amount of time and distance from the hotel.

Hotel location and amenities were really nice, and the staff working the cafe were incredibly kind! I was disappointed though with how unkind some of the front desk staff were (mainly remember a blonde lady being very annoyed with us, can’t remember her name), made my family feel uneasy asking for things as it felt like we were inconveniencing them. Overall this hotel was great, just wish all the staff was friendly.

Nice hotel. Can be a bit loud for adjacent / over rooms, I think the people above us wore clogs. Staff was great, and very accommodating. Would stay again.
