Writing a review just to make sure I remember not to come back here. There are 3 zones with the first one being the most fun, but still not actually scary. The hayride was a joke. The wait to get on was absolutely ridiculous and there was nearly no scare actors throughout the whole thing. Parking is an additional price, which is dumb in my opinion.Absolutely not worth it for an adult.

They did an absolute amazing job this year full tour takes a little over an hour and it's great entertainment, unless they change it next year it's advised you by the upgraded pass as they let them go first regardless of who's in line and how long you've waited

Took my 13 yo daughter and her softball teammates to the Scream Zone as a team bonding night. We chose a Wednesday and it was nearly empty (which was nice). The girls all loved it and had a BLAST! They went through 2 mazes and the haunted hayride and loved them all! They were definitely scared but in a good way. The staff was nice and accommodating to our big group. A few of the girls were a little afraid and they shared a code word with us that we could use to keep the actors away, which was nice. They had a decent offering of food and snacks. Overall, a very fun night!

Don't waste your precious time or money. Go to haunted trails instead waaaaaay better!I get scared easily & scream zone wasn't scary at all.It took 3 hours because of loooong lines & then you end up being yelled at by a extremely rude cast member at the beginning of the 2nd house which made the experience so much worse. The Graveyard ride was the only kinda entertaining ride. You got to sit down & go on a ride through scary places that weren't scary at all but at least you were not being yell at by an obnoxious rude cast member. In a nutshell, never going back there at all.P.S. if you really decide to go definitely buy VIP tickets or you'll need in line forever.

So thrilled ?? that the scream zone haunted house is back it’s way much better than last year. They have new and improved mazes. when I decided to come again. they had Michael Myers scream, Pennywise. and much more in the maze I will definitely be coming back next year also, they have very fun games. Perfect for a date night.lots of options they even have an amazing psychic.? she was very accurate. Very. Welcoming. And great positivity energy they even have a shop at Encinitas with many options just the whole vibe. And experience was amazing all in all at the scream zone.I would highly recommend stopping in

I'm through 2 haunts already and I'm usually pretty critical on how well they are made but this place ranks right up there with the best I've been to. Good scares, great set designs, and 3 great ( I assume!) haunts. A+Update: The 3rd Haunt was also fantastic!

This place is great. Ignore the poor reviews and go for the right reasons and the right way. We're in our 30s and just wanted some Halloween fun.1. Book vip. We went early (right after dark) and it was still great. Skipped the lines mid maze (that's where it backs up) and keeps you in the front of the group (where the best screams happen).2. Don't go for food or hanging out after. It's a highschool party. All kids. We hit dinner before in Del Mar which has awesome restaurants.3. Aim for that 7-8 window. We showed up at 745 and it was dark and people just getting there. Strangely deserted. But it must of been the tail end of the 7pm bookings and the 8pms not arriving. When we finished the hay ride and got back to the food area/entrance it was dramatically busier. The event: all in all very cool. Tons of effort and the hay ride part is incredible. If possible (I hate not having a back on my seat) try and get the trailer with a wall. The other is just hay bales and the one with the walls you can kick back and enjoy.Go. Enjoy Halloween.

Don't waste your money this year sucks. They only have a small section of the park open. Only 4 rides and journey to Atlantis is closed. Definitely not as good as Last year.

Fantastic scares. I must say I am not the hardest to scare, you give me a chainsaw and I cry. This year they added games and merch. I am a sucker for a good hoodie. The food has improved. I could eat the garlic fries every night! Planning to go again to take my mom after already going with my work friends. A MUST this Halloween season!!!

What a fun experience!!Definitely recommend coming and checking it out. I didn't expect a whole much being my very first time coming to " Scream Zone," but I was not disappointed. Without giving too much away, the ending on the 3 maze was so awesome and different than other places I've been. It had great scares and none expecting thrills. The props and makeup effects are very nicely done. The entire experience is fun, with the environment set up being spooky and eerie. Definitely liked the dedication to set up.I want to go back again the next day !Used the coupon from Goodwill stores and went on a Wednesday. You can only use that Sun - Thursday, tho saved $5 per ticket. The total time spent on the line and 3 main attractions was exactly 1 hr. Not including any time spent at the games, booths, or food stands.
