I wish I could bring my cats and dog here. A few months ago we panicked trying to find a vet to take our hedgehog we rehomed from someone else. She was sick and nowhere near us would take her. One place wanted $500 just to see her! Since we traveled 4 hours one way, they worked with us even if they were busy. They emailed promptly and answered questions. They helped us find a company to get her medication compounded. They helped us give quality care in her last few months while understanding our budget and time restraints. When the time came to put her down, everyone was supportive and empathetic. We chose to take her home to bury, they presented her in a box to take home with a bed of hay and flowers. They went above and beyond. Dr. Amy Wells treated her with such love and care. I will forever be grateful to their kindness. We could've found a closer vet, but they were worth the drive!

If you care about your pets please don't bring them here. I came to them with a sick Rooster and their malpractice ended up killing him in the most horrific traumatic way possible and traumatized myself and my child. No accountability, no compassion. She told me to sue her. Please avoid at all costs.

I just realized that I haven't reviewed this place yet. I wish that there were more options for exotic vets. I have 2 rabbits, so it really sucked to drive over an hour for a 5-10 minute appointment. The last time I went was over a year ago. This was way past covid time but you still couldn't bring your animal in. You had to call them and they come outside and get your animal. They did take care of your animal, but were pricey. They do the RHDV2 vaccine that rabbits are supposed to do. I tried De Anva Vet because they were closer, but they dont do the RHDV2. But now I go to Exotic Pet Clinic of Santa Cruz because they have better pricing.

First-time customer here now that we got a birb. The staff is very friendly, caring, and compassionate to our needs. They also took great care in handling, inspecting, and treating our Green Cheeked Conure. After purchasing him from a big box store, it was advised to run a blood test and check for any issues, also to get the sex of the birb.
Each visit was prompt and informative, and all our questions were answered with care until we were educated completely.
The office was clean, had lots of goodies and food to purchase, and even a few pets to enjoy watching while you wait!
I'm told they are one of the best clinics around and their prices are very fair!

Wonderful experience. Great staff and knowledgeable providers. We brought in our sick ball python and they took great care of him.

Friendly staff, the vet was amazing and did everything do help my bird. A little pricey but I don’t mind, anything to keep my birds healthy and happy. My bird got better very quickly thanks to the vet and the after care I gave. Definitely would recommend this clinic!!

They have been taking care of my guinea pigs for more than 3 years. My male guinea pig suffered a severe infection and heart murmur and the vet did a great job to reverse it. I also board my pigs there occasionally too.

Took my daughters rabbit in to have dental work done, they were quick about it and explained everything. The price was reasonable as well, will be using them for all my daughters bunnies needs

I am so happy with the service that my pets and me receive here. All the staff is top notch and professional from the time you walk in the door. They are knowledgeable and care about my pets’ well being. They have even worked with me on seeing rescues and getting them the treatments they need. I will be continuing to happily bring my animals here.
