Del Rey is a small town outside of Sanger with literally nothing of note - there's an elementary school and post office that have probably been there longer than anything else, a couple tiny store, and a killer Mexican place (that delivers!). This post office is nothing special - you can drop off mail, you can buy stamps, you can send packaged, but you can't really buy any packaging (as I learned today). If you're planning on sending something, make sure it's already wrapped up and ready to go, or you'll be SOL once you get here. That being said, the most /wonderful/ employee, Rudy, works here. Why is he the most wonderful employee, you may ask? Rudy knows that they don't have any real packaging for sale here, but is prepared for circumstances where somebody might need a box or an envelope anyway. This isn't a guarantee, so don't go expecting him to give you a free box, but luck might be on your side! This guy not only found me a package, but also dealt with the fact that I forgot to give him to packing slip to put inside, and used his own tape to prep the package for me. In case that wasn't enough, he also happens to know every address in Del Rey, and my family as well, so we had fun little chit chat with this transaction. In terms of customer service, Rudy gets 5 stars. In terms of actual services and usefulness of this post office? Probably 2 stars. Rudy brings up the overall rating to 3 stars. You go Rudy.
