The 35ish year old lady with glasses who worked Saturday, June 8th, at Delano, needs to learn the requirements to obtain your new PO key to your new house. She falsely said a copy of your lease or mortgage is also required with your photo ID, that nothing else will suffice. I showed her my Medicare card, and all my credit/debit cards, and said to look up my online USPS request, or look at my USPS ap on my phone I was willing to pull up for her as it shows where I moved from which matches my name and DL address, but she refused. She again stated only a mortgage or lease would work. I left and since they aren’t open till Monday, I could not get my mail. I looked again when I got home online and she either lied because it was almost closing time, or she simply isn’t qualified to work there. Attached is a photo of the requirements which I had with me. Because I desperately needed my mail which had my new debit cards in it, I must now wait and go again on Monday. She certainly cares less about serving the public and instead worries immensely about getting off work right at Noon, or she hates her job or is lazy. I was at her window at 11:37 am, plenty of time for her to give me a key. Now I have to wait till Monday to get my new debit/credit cards since my purse was stolen earlier in the week. I have not gone to the USPO for probably 20 years and this is the exact reason why. Her attitude about NOT helping people and NOT learning how to help people according to the USPS.

Autumn at the Delano post office was SO incredibly helpful to me on the phone trying to locate a missing package. I exhausted all my efforts online to no avail (I tried for days !!!) I ended up calling by phone (which I try to avoid as it rarely helps either) assuming I wouldn’t have any luck.. but I was greeted kindly and with patience by Autumn, she listened to my concerns and had her drivers on the search for my package immediately. within 30 minutes they FOUND IT !! Just days before Christmas left. Thank you again, I can’t express enough how much kind & genuine customer service means to me.. it feels so rare these days, yet it makes the world of difference. Now I can go into my busy holiday weekend with that much less stress.

Since the start of year seems like post office has gotten lazy because packages no longer on time. When say they tried to deliver but mail was blocked that was a lie because I made sure the area was clear. Still got notice saying delivery attempt was made but was not blocked.

Small town US post office. Good customer service, located in a great area, they keep up with it pretty good and the people I have dealt with over the years have always been friendly and helpful.

Currently standing in line and it is 9:04AM. As a federal agency you would think they opened the doors promptly at 9AM like the policy states. But once again this is the great government agency again failing to do things correctly.

I live in LA. I had ordered something and wanted it delivered to my grandparent's house in Delano. I had tracking on my package, on the day of the delivery the tracking number said my package was delivered, but it wasn't in the mailbox. I tried creating a service request, but no one ever contacted me back. So I went to the post office in person, about 3 weeks after the supposed delivery date, to see if my package was there but they said there was nothing they could do because it was so long ago.

Excellent customer service but always busy! They need to have an automated kiosk for help. Also you should open saturdays.
