This past Saturday, 5/18, I needed to get platters of small sandwiches for a kids party last minute so I came to the local Albertsons. When I first asked about them at the deli counter I was told it couldn’t be done by one employee because they needed at least 48 hour notice, which is completely understandable. After asking if she knew of anywhere else I might be able to find a tray like this she didn’t know but said I’d probably run into the same problem. As I was walking out, kinda bummed, another employee caught me and asked how many people I needed to feed and they most likely had the time to get it done. I replied about 30. She grabbed the catering booklet so I could see the options, chose the easiest one (with the pretzel buns) and she assured me she could get it done and she did! About 30 minutes later the trays were complete and we were out the door! This employee’s name was Margaret Mary and she was AMAZING! She could see the bummed out look on my face and once she heard it was for a kids party, she was more than willing to help me out with this little problem I had. I really just wanted to give even more thanks to Margaret Mary with this review! She went above and beyond and I am so grateful. This act of kindness was truly appreciated. Thank you again Margaret Mary for saving the day!

Very good service. The staff seem very energetic. That’s amazing. Very friendly and helpful. I like diamond bar Albertsons. Cashier:Suzie so nice !!!! She know many customers. Says hi to everyone. Good job !!! Thank you so much for your professional efficiency.

This rating is well deserved. The courtesy clerk David should be promoted to trainer of Customer Service. He is what is missing in the positive customer experience. He was so kind, and even waited for me to answer when he asked, “ How are you? Did you find everything you came for? He even packed my bags so I had no issues walking up stairs to my apartment. Thank you Albertsons, and thank you David!

Came in to use the restroom and none of the employees knew the code... I understand it was installed today but I had to booboo bad as hell.... And I was far from home...

The customer service in Deli and Meat Departments are going to the toilet and it's awful. The checkout is not friendly as seems they are bothered to work. Bring back Vons and better customer service!!!

It just keeps getting worse at this store. Not enough staff, long lines, and a staff that couldn't care less (they are probably pretty fed up too). Be sure to check dates as you're very likely to buy expired products. The butcher is often missing and no one seems to know where he/she is. I haven't had a problem with the produce or the fresh deli meat. Pricing is insane! When we had other options in Diamond Bar (Ralph's, Vons), Albertsons was reasonably priced. Now that Walmart is the only other option, prices skyrocketed. We try to go over the hill to Stater Brothers when we can but it's not convenient.... and I think Albertsons knows it.

Last week, we ordered through Alberson's app for pick up. The package of green grapes was 60% old and in poor condition. We also ordered a package of strawberries, which turned out to be bad as well. Unfortunately, since we picked them up at 7:50 pm and didn't check inside immediately, we had to throw them away the next day.

Not too happy with the Diamond Bar store. Today I went in for the deli fried chicken breast, they didn't have any. Went to get Farmer John's bacon $5 special, they were out! Last week the meat department didn't have the chuck roast special or chicken breast with skin on and bone in. I'm disappointed as this is a big chain supermarket and I've shopped here for the last 20 years. Time to shop elsewhere.

Purchased soft drinks price card says 6.99 purchase 3 or more mix and match. Was charged 8.99 each 12 pack. Was told by cashier I bought (2) Pepsi products and (1) coke product that’s why discount wasn’t given. What is the meaning of mix and match?

"Meat department closed, not even 7pm... 2 registers open with 20+ people in each line. Yet staff is walking around doing re-merch on non perishables. Get your shit together guys, unacceptable as it isn't the first time. Feel like this store is becoming a Vons . Save your money, go support Hmart, they have tons of staff to help and far fresher produce with much better pricing.
