Booked a moving truck a month out. One day out got a call saying they wouldn’t have the truck, called customer service as instructed. Customer service said they would send over a truck for the next day with no need for any additional follow up on customer end. Day of move, truck was not available. Called customer service who said to wait 2 hr for an update/resolution.Left for a U-haul location for a moving truck

Total waste of your time. Not reliable place to rent car. Don't waste your time.I had a reservation since end of January 2023, and car was given away 1 day before I was to pick up on 2/17/23 ( I was told by rental representative). Only offer was for compact car at same price of full size car. They didn't have the common courtesy to call to confirm reservation before giving away reserved car rental. Read the Google reviews, 5 months ago the same thing happened to someone else, it seems like this is their car rental practice. Don't waste your time, I went to Enterprise in Walnut on Valley Blvd and didn't have any problems.Total unsatisfactory experience with this Diamond Bar Avis/Budget on Golden Springs.Put your hard earned money to better use and have peace of mind for your travel plans by going elsewhere!

Absolute worst experience trying to rent a truck. Cancelled 2 days before. Had to fumble through customer service just for them to “reschedule” another rental and completely butcher that with the wrong confirmation on the pick up. Just terrible. 0/5 stars. By far the biggest waste of time and a bigger waste of breathe speaking with anyone employed with this company.

This Budget car rental place in Diamond Bar, is totally horrid. They have taken 3 expensive bottles of cologne from me, informing me that the person cleaning car didnt find anything, of course not, too expensive to do the right thing and return to rightful owner... sec9ndly, they never even called me back when I reported the items left behind, the same day I forgot them, so, when I called them today, after waiting 1.5 months for a response, I was informed that the man cleaning the vehicle, didnt find anything, no wallet, no colgne, no nothing.. yeah... right... I will never, ever return to rent here wver again.. Yet I warn everyine.. they are thieves.... that they truly are.

Never rent a car again to this place. I got horrible experienced with this rental services due to the fact that in my contract, the agent and I made inspections of the car before I got the keys and told him about the scratches and the windshield that he did brought to my attention that had a crack and noted it is okay that would not be a problem. I did agreed with him but due to the weather was cold , automatic heater /AC kick in and the crack got longer by 8 inches. When I did returned the car the same agent that I did my contract lied that he did not noticed the crack and he did circle it up on the inspection sheet. He Charged me to pay around $ 640. plus $ 29 dollars for administrative fees which is over priced and quotation around that repair by consumers and repair shop is only $ 336.00 .They try to ripped off the customers with the agent that work there for 18 years not telling the truth of rental agreement and disclosure . I will never recommend to rent a car in this place. My rating is zero out of cinco in this review.

DO NOT RENT FOR THIS COMPANY!!! This Budget Car Rental location and the company overall deserves a rating of ZERO stars. It has such HORRIBLE and POOR customer service. The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Trust me, you do not want to rent a vehicle from this company because they will overcharge your card. This company doesn't care about your concerns, they do not know how customer service works!! My card recently got overcharged $2,400 because one of their irresponsible workers, I do not know his name but he is an Asian American man who provided me with the wrong drop-off location. My car rental was supposed to be charged at $281 and I have the receipt with evidence and proof. This company needs to be in the check, they are ripping off customers like me who make this COMPANY EXPAND. You can check out other customers review yourself on YELP.com and they even warn you! Go to Enterprise, it's a bit more expensive but they have OUTSTANDING customer service, you won't regret it!

I made reservations For truck twice before and today i made it again but when i go to pick up the truck they always dont have it in stock and they are not even helping me to find another truck at another location they just told me to call customer service then ask them for help they are so irresponsible

Yep...Failed to read reviews before trying them. Really wish I had, it could have saved me the major stress and loss of money and time that unfolded because of their failure. I made a reservation for a 26ft truck on Dec. 30 to pick it up on Dec. 31. I arrived at their location for the truck at my scheduled pick up time of 9AM and the lady told me to have a seat since she won't be able to help anyone until her computers are back up and running. A little longer than half hour passed and she than asked for my reservation#, I gave her the # and she said, "ohhhh you're here for a truck?" I said "yes" and she said, "well, did you see any out there?" and I said "uhhh no." And she said "that's because we don't have any currently available." And that's when I dropped my jaw with disbelief. "What??!!! How do you allow reservations to be made for one to be picked up than?!!" She said "It's not us, it's the reservation center." It blew my mind and I basically was asking her how the hell the reservation center and the store don't coordinate these kind of things. A lot of schedules are planned around these kind of things and a lot of sacrifices are made around a major move - time, work, and money that was paid in cash to the people who were supposed to help me move at a scheduled time ($150 which was non-refundable by them which I certainly believe you guys should be compensating). I was told by the lady to call the # she gave me since she could not help me with anything at all. I called the number and I explained the whole situation to the guy on the phone who than told me he couldn't do anything but that I would be receiving a call from their inventory manager anywhere from half hour to 2 hours to arrange a new pickup location and to sort out their failure with me. The whole day and night passed and I NEVER received a call from them. Every aspect of budget is a major fail and I highly advise to not give them your business at all. And I am not just somebody who is cranky about a lame situation trying to persuade you to steer clear, just read all the reviews and many people will warn you too. Take heed!

Not a good experience. Truck was not there, and there seemed to be no interest in helping figure out a solution. Asked the gentleman to cancel the reservation as we left to locate an alternative. He said he would, but when I called the 800 number, the reservation was not cancelled. Thank goodness I placed the follow up call. Horrible customer service. Would not recommend.

Great guys there, was a day late and they still were able to get me a car!
