I found this place on Yelp and called in advance for an appointment to remove my gel x and get a regular gel manicure. I'm so sad I suppose I should have done more research and ask for Kay herself though unfortunately the lady that worked with me seemed new there. I can hear her asking the more experienced technician(I think it's Kay? Can't be sure) about how to remove my gel x because it was so thick. Kay showed her once on my left hand and then the technician that worked with me did my right hand and filed off way too much of my actual nails. I told her twice it was too hot and she held back but once she finished filing, I felt how sensitive they were. Once I washed my hands, I can see how thin my nails where and I can see the flesh through my barely transparent nails. I can't believe this could happen at a professional nail place I told the more experienced technician and she took over, both apologizing profusely and didn't change for my gel remover or the additional top coat she put to harden my nails but even with the 4 layers, I zipped up my pants today and I can feel my nails bend and can definitely bend the nails on my right hand just pressing on it compared to my left hand this will take about 2-3 months to grow back and again, I know they were sorry, I just still can't believe it actually happened at a professional nail salon. If you do go here, I recommend being wary of who you set your appointment.

Parking is a joke here. Couldn't make my appointment because I couldn't find a place to park but I guess the business figured so much as they never picked up when I tried to call to say I was running late.

It was my first time getting my nails done at this salon. I had no issues and my nails turned out pretty good...The lady took her time and for the most part I am satisfied with them. The total was 108 for gel x and a regular pedicure, not including tip. The only reason I knock off stars is because the salon is dirty and unorganized. They will put all their equipment on the chairs that aren't being used and it looks very messy. The chairs are cloth and we're stained...I can tell they have never been washed. The tables were not wiped off and had old nail clippings left on them. She did not use a towel under my hands while filling my nails but instead did it over a decorative pillow. I just thought that was kind of weird. Not the most sanitary place and if you are big on cleanliness i would probably avoid it here. It is not a spa environment so if you are looking for that i would go elsewhere.

This was my first time getting gel X nails, and it was a really enjoyable experience! It was a spur-of-the-moment idea because I previously had a difficult week, and it totally made me feel better. My nail tech was super gentle and made sure to check with me every step because of the language barrier. The designed nails (with the clouds) were 5 bucks each. The nails with the stars were 3 bucks each. Gel X cost 70 bucks. The total was 86 bucks.

Went to Kay's the Friday before Christmas for a gel manicure with some Winter wonderland designs. My nails turned out grey but just 5 days later they started to chip and now the day before festivities my nails look terrible. Disappointed cause I splurged and paid $55 for this gel manicure with the design and it didn't even last a week. I wouldn't go back with the price and how long they actually lasted. Really hoped this would be my new spot.

Ill admit I completely forgot to book my nail appointment before the wedding so was scurrying around looking for somewhere to get a great look. Given the wedding was in 2 days, I don't have the time to fix a bad mail job. Kay's came through for me! I made an appointment for my mom and myself through Yelp messages. The location is near, but not in the H mart plaza in Diamond bar, conveniently down the street from the 60 FWY. Three people were working including the owner. They gave great recommendations for what to do for toes, hands, and had a wide selection of OPI and other brands. I was overwhelmed by Pinterest and told her I just wanted something "subtle but wedding day." Loved the clash ombré white with faint shimmer and single nail painted with seashells. The pedicure was pain free and my toes look great as well. Would recommend if you're anywhere nearby - the staff was sweet, friendly, and never felt pushy. I got regular polish pedicure and gel manicure.

really really glad i came to kay's for a pedicure! i got a regular pedi (no gel) which was $22, very reasonably priced. i also decided i didn't like the first color i chose and my nail tech had no issues with changing it for me :~) they were super nice and efficient! wish they had some music playing, they had a tv and it was playing football for some reason LOL but not a big deal! parking can be kind of a pain but the quality of the pedicure was worth it. i will definitely be back :~)

Is my first time here. The lady's name Sommer did my nail, she has exceeded my expectations. I have in grown nail. It can be very painful if the person doesn't know what to do. Sommer did it without me notice that it was done. No pain at all. I was shocked. The spa is very quiet and clean. Price is reasonable. I will definitely recommend this place without hesitation.

I wanted to wait a couple weeks before posting my review on my nails so I could give my opinion on my nails to the full extent. Needless to say, I absolutely love my nails! My time with Kay was amazing-- she was very attentive and thoughtful, as well as quick with the service. She helped me take off my acrylic + gel nails and did a Japanese gel extension (gel x) with a design that I showed her. The nails have lasted with absolutely no issue thus far-- and typically at other nail salons, I have a huge problem with how quick they go, because they usually end up with uneven acrylic nails. Kay's nails are perfectly shaped and are very even-- no issues at all! It has been 2 weeks and they are still shiny and beautiful, and I still get compliments from strangers. I will definitely be coming back to see Kay!!!

Came in to get a gel manicure with some designs on each nail. I booked an appointment over Yelp by messaging the business and got an appointment at 1 a couple days in advance for me and my boyfriend who was getting a pedicure (his first one, he just wanted to try it out). Pedicure: We actually came around 15 minutes early and got to start my manicure about 10 minutes early which was cool. We had a great time and my boyfriend enjoyed the standard pedicure. It was $22 for around 20 minutes for the standard pedicure. He said his feet felt very smooth and he enjoyed it. Manicure: My manicure took about an hour. The person who did my nails was fast but not rough which was great. When she did my cuticles, I didn't bleed at all which is rare for me, so that was a big plus! I had a picture of what I wanted and she was able to recommend the right colors. I was also able to choose what gold nail accessories I wanted from a pretty decently sized collection. The gel manicure was $38. The marbling was $5 for each nail. Small gold accessories were $1, medium sized $2, large sized $5. My total ended up being $69 not including tip, which is somewhat expensive. I know some places are cheaper, but also I'm very satisfied with the way my nails came out. The nail artist applied several coats of gel to make sure none of the gold would come off, but my nails still weren't that thick at the end which was cool. Only problem I had was that one of the gold foiling on one finger is sticking out a little so the nail is not completely smooth, but it's a very small issue. Would I come back again? Maybe! It's pricey but you get what you pay for!

Friendly staff. Felt safe during covid since they only take one person at a fime. Very helpful with selecting the color if you are a confused person like me.

Horrible service and the technician didn't do a good job- callus was not cleaned properly And my manicure was so bad that I had to go home and recut the nails. I asked for square oval and while some flails were shaped properly others were not - extremely disappointed with the service
