“We had a wonderful experience at Crossroads today. We are new to the area and I am an emergency contact for a friend and her petsitter while she is out of town. Her dogs got into a fight and Crossroads fit us in last minute! They were my 6th call today trying to find someone who would see us same day and not expect us to be established clients. Dr.Karen Pazzi was communicative, kind, professional, and as a German Shepherd owner, I was pleased by how comfortable she was with my friend's pitbulls. The price was also extremely fair. The dogs looked so much better after their wound clean up. We are so appreciative of the team's help today.”

“Our French Bulldog lost the use of his back legs after a spine injury on Xmas day. We were told by another vet that he might need a $15,000–$20,000 surgery if he didn’t improve within 10 days.
We got a second opinion from Dr. Raymond at Placerville Animal Wellness. By then, our dog could barely stand up on his back legs. Dr. Raymond pinpointed the injury without costly X-rays, performed an adjustment with a tool, and started acupuncture the next day.
Within one week — after his second acupuncture session — our dog was walking on his own!! We were shocked and amazed!
Dr. Raymond truly cares about his patients. His knowledge and expertise are unmatched. His team is wonderful and we can’t recommend them enough! Conservative treatment gave our dog his mobility back and we are so happy he didn’t have surgery. Forever thankful to Dr. Raymond and everyone at Placerville Animal Wellness.

“Had to put down our elderly beagle as his life was becoming almost pure suffering due to his declining health, and the staff were so kind and compassionate. They didn’t rush us and let us take our time saying our goodbyes. It took us a few months to work up the courage to come back to pick up his ashes and again they were so understanding and caring. They gave us extra memorabilia that we didn’t expect upon receiving his ashes, to include a piece of set clay that had his paw print and name. It was very special and I’d highly recommend coming here for whatever your pet care needs may be.”
