Had a great time here! Tiny homes and so cute and love being a quick walk from the ocean. My hubby and I came for my birthday and enjoyed our relaxing stay. A couple of things we noticed: - if you turn on the heater, the fridge stops working - window by our bed did not close - we ended up putting pillow over it - the internet was VERY spotty - there's no reception in the area

So relaxing and rejuvenating! We'll definitely be coming back over the years!THE GOOD° Nearly every cottage has a great view.° Cottages were clean and provided a lot of cooking pots/boards/pans.° Comfortable beds.- but the couch pullout not so comfy.° Each cottage has a hose to clean off all the sand.° There's a big general store with fresh coffee and ice cream. Items were priced decently.° Their restaurant, The Coastal Kitchen, had really good clam chowder and fish n chips (pictures on my review of CK).THE BAD° The fireplace almost seemed like it was more for looks than actual heat.- but you can turn on the thermostat and it will heat the cottageTHE UGLY° The sliding interior doors were god awful! - It didn't have a bottom guide rail and the "lock" was moreso to stop it from sliding.- Which btw, the doors would slide open by themselves (not leveled correctly?)if they could fix the door issue, I'd likely give 5 stars.

The view, the food, and the people were awesome .Walkability: Your literally just a walk, skip, and a jump away from the beach

This place is absolutely adorable and well maintained. But it is not well suited for mature or refined travelers. It's seems best for families with kids. We took off a star because of the noise and lack of privacy. While there is a beautiful picture window with amazing views of the beach and ocean, the common area in front of our cabin was generally full of unsupervised children and off leash dogs. Also, the cabins are close together so we could hear our neighbors at night partying, kids crying, dogs barking, etc. Our dog struggled at times with all of the commotion/noise.We also took a star off because the restaurant and general store have a very limited menu/selection. Also, we could not imagine more than 2 adults staying in the coho cottage. The loft space has very limited head space. We used the loft and stairs to store our luggage. Because the cabins are so cute, and the staff was so nice, we will likely return during the off-season on weekdays to avoid kids and bring our own food.

Stayed in the Coho Cottage for an extended weekend and we loved the tiny home! It was an easy walk to the beach where we visited tide pools during low tide, and kids enjoyed the sand dunes. During evenings, we enjoyed movies with the smart TV while enjoying a gorgeous sunset.

Our first time at Dillon Beach Resort and not our last. What a wonderful experience. We booked one of the Coho cottages, new group of cottages and tiny homes at the resort. We visited friends who stayed last year, but with the improvements, it was much better. The cottages are decorated nicely and with care. Retro is the theme and it must definitely works. We had a separate bedroom and a loft upstairs. An extra bonus is that it is dog friendly. Almost everyone staying there has a dog. I loved everything about the cottage. They thought of everything. The kitchen is stocked with necessary items for cooking. There is a community area with seating and bbqs to use. Picnic tables outside the cottages along with a pair of Adirondack chairs to enjoy the nightly sunset. An easy walk to the beach and each cottage has a hose outside to clean yourself and the dogs. Just bring yourself and enjoy the amenities. The Coastal Kitchen serves great food. The check in is located inside the market where they sell food snacks and anything you might need. Don't forget to try the salted caramel soft serve. Best I've ever had. All the staff, whether it was on the phone or in person were extreme helpful and accommodating. Looking forward to our return to Dillon beach Resort.

Our favorite place! We've been coming here multiple times throughout the year for at least 3-4 years now. It was perfect from the beginning but it just continues to get better. They also recently went under a remodel and added new tiny homes and hang out areas. It is gorgeous! We've stayed in every ocean facing model and they are each uniquely perfect. The hospitality from the staff is a 10 out of 10. Accommodating and super responsive.

I brought my mom here for a day trip. She really likes it here. The beach is beautiful. There are a lot of Boulder rocks that make the scenery beautiful. If you get there before 8 or 9 am..parking is free..then it's 10 or 12.00 after that. There is plenty of parking...and it is dog friendly. You can have your dogs off the leash here and will find many digs running and playing. There are sand dunes...so if you have trouble walking..its a little difficult to get to the beach area. There are bathrooms with changing rooms which is nice. The beach area is pretty large. There are picnic tables to sit at.The water is so beautiful...this really is a nice beach to visit if you are in the area...if for a day or only to have lunch. It's a little off the beaten path..but very much worth the drive.I for sure recommend this beach.

Dillon beach was spectacular. I take my dog there every couple of weeks when there is a good low tide. The tide goes way out like an English beach, the sand is firm and great for walking, dogs are off leash and have a wonderful time romping. OK, you do have to pay $10 to park but for me it is definitely worth it. The beach is long; it takes about an hour to walk from the parking lot to the southern tip and back; this stretches into Tomales Bay. I feel a real sense of gratitude that this resource is available to us.

While not as lovely or expensive as Bodega Bay beaches a few miles north, you will still find a beautiful bay view with Tomales point making the scenery even more spectacular. Access is best from the main entrance vs. the other access at the landing.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. Short walk to the beach from the cottages, the General Store is not a supermarket but has more than expected - Moe than just essentials. Dig friendly which is a huge us. The only downside was the restaurant. A few things to note:. 1) you can't call in an order. You have to walk down, place it and wait. If they are really busy or cold/raining out, it's miserable. 2) Food is okay. No parmesan on the Cesar salad. Too much batter on fish so it was undercooked next to fish. The calm chowder is more like a fish chowder as it had a lot of fish and almost no calms, like they were trying to make it cheap and fool the water. 3) Cottages we're nice but lift bed area too small and stairs up to it are far too steep. I gave4 stars, almost gave 3 for the food but everything else was really nice.O
