I just went with this propane company and I have been so impressed with them. They have been so great on communication both through email and phone. I called to start service and they were out the next day to check out my tank and gave me the 100 gallons of propane they happen to have in their tank since I needed it. I had a strange smell and they came out twice to check it out and even stopped by on a Sunday morning to check on things. They have been absolutely wonderful! I could not have asked for better service. I continue to be impressed with this propane company and the employees who have helped me. Thank you Allied Propane and Gas Company in Dixon, CA.

I'd give them a zero if I could. Terrible customer service. I had 3 tanks to fill. I'm a woman in my sixties. The kid couldn't even help me get the tanks out of the truck. He even told me where to place the tanks for him to fill! Unbelievable! AND, of course when the tanks were filled; I had to pick them up & put the tanks back in the truck, full!! No, thank you, from him or nothing! Good luck staying in business in this small town! Never again going there!

Typically, bad service and antiquated systems.

First off- I do not recommend this company. You will save yourself money and bad service by calling around. They are absolutely price gouging customers. We had been customers of Allied/Pro Gas for almost 8 years. Never questioned their pricing filled up a 499 gallon tank 1x per year and then added about 1/2 come winter as we have multiple pull sources in the winter. In Feb of this year we paid 4.59 a/gal. I called back this week to get more because it's still unseasonably cold and we weren't going to last these next few weeks. Quoted 4.59 again. We had another sales rep from a different company come by offering 1.20 cheaper, I asked if they would honor that, to which I was directed to Rob, the sales guy as the office gals could not make that call. Apparently Rob didn't know I had been a customer for almost 8 years, he said they would honor the price of 3.39. I asked if it would stay at the price or if it was just for this fill. He said, and I quote "the regular price is 3.59." That's a dollar less than I paid in Feb of this year and less than what I was being quoted the day prior. I wanted to give this company a chance to make it right but when I called him out on his bad business practices and price gouging he got agitated with me and had a very disrespectful tone and belittled me as a customer because I was will-call and not keep full. I spoke to 3 different companies local to the area and all 3 of them said, their prices are the same for auto fills and will call customers. He started yelling at me saying they were lying and they were just saying that to obtain my business.... And that will call customers always pay a higher price than keep-full customers, about .80 more... out of the years that I've been a customer, we never signed any paperwork that the prices were higher for will call as we used to be keep full customers. Rob then tried to blame a former employee who no longer works there. I went with a different supplier. This is a bad company with shady practices. They have many bad reviews. Heed the warnings.

Called the day before thanksgiving to have the service put in our name as we just purchased a property with two homes on it . The seller of our homes just recently had allied tanks installed on the property prior to us buying the homes. I also requested they convert our dryer to propane as this is a service they offer. I knew because of thanksgiving I would not likely get a call for a week or so. Two weeks later I call and talk to Ann Altheide which happens to be the same person I spoke with two weeks prior that told me she would follow up with their tech and get back to me. I reminded her of who I am and our convo and she reassured me she would reach out to the tech and get back to me. I followed up the next day and this time she was rude and again for the third time told me she would reach out to her tech and get back to me. Today is 12/19/22 been here almost a month no call nothing. I installed the propane conversion part last week myself. Took me 30 minutes with a $5.00 part I purchased on Amazon. Shared my experience with our new neighbor and they told me they just pulled their allied tanks because of the same poor customer service. They went with tanks from Sheldon gas. Today I decided to do the same and will be going with Sheldon. I own three businesses and would never continue to employ such a rude and unprofessional employee. Look at the other reviews. It's clear whoever manages this place is not big on customer service and cares less about us customers needs. Now you know

Always dismissive and rude customer service. Front desk needs to take some customer experience training.Drivers are always wonderful and understanding.

Terrible service. Put monitor on my tank for automatic refill. They don't monitor; I have to monitor myself and call for refill; then they can't tell me when they will be here! Can't hire enough drivers in number 1 excuse. Terrible, mismanaged company; don't see how they stay in business.

We have used allied for just over a year at our house and have experienced poor customer service during most interactions with the office staff. They have not been very accommodating or helpful and it always seems as though we are a burden when we call for a service that we pay for.

They do a wonderful job, accommodated my family when we needed an emergency tank fill and helped light all the pilots.

We have been loyal Allied Propane customers for ten years. We didn't check the meter till Wed 26th and realized we were down to 2%. Called the Dixon office 2.30 that Wed, no person, left message on phone. Called Thursday 7.30am-spoke to helpful answering service, left message, called back 8.15am, spoke to a lady and told her the situation. Said she would text driver and call back, she didn't. The driver when he comes is pleasant and helpful, but there seems to be no connection between office and drivers. Friday 1/28 we called again, lady said she didn't know if the driver would deliver. Said Allied Propane has 10 days in which to deliver as we don't have automatic delivery-no one has ever told us about this service. Promised to get a message to driver and call back. - didn't Now is Sat 29th and still no delivery. My husband and I are both in our 70s, there have been heavy white frosts for over a week and we depend upon propane for our hot water and heating. I am very disappointed with the lack of empathy from Dixon Allied Propane. Patricia Miller

The absolute worst customer service. Ever since we switched to Allied Propane service, (which was supposed to be on an automatic delivery program) we never got service unless I called in that we were severely low on propane. Allied installed a different tank with a monitor on it so that "we would not have to worry about running low or out of propane again". No service since. As of last night, 01/04/22, we are down to 4% capacity. We were told we'd have an emergency delivery last night by Rob, it never showed. We were told at 8:55 this morning, by Rob again, that someone would be here within the hour, it's now 12:50, and still no show. I called Sheldon and explained our situation. It's 2:10 & they sent out 2 guys to bring temporary tanks to get us through until early next week when they can install the permanent tank. Save yourself the headache, pass on service from Allied

I just wonder how many days were supposed to have a propane leak and turn our propane off to our entire house before someone will come out and do something about it ! 1st call to them was Sunday, February 2 and today is Tuesday, February 4 and they said someone will be out tomorrow on February 5 I think that’s a little ridiculous we haven’t had any heater , no stove , no hot water ! This is ridiculous ! terrible customer service !!!
