This is not your run of the mill Motel 6. The hotel previously was a Microtel. Large rooms; lots of TV channels with a large TV screen; the rooms are very clean & comfortable; no charge for dogs and a very fair price for the room. Grass in front of the hotel to take the dog potty with a poop bag dispenser & disposal can. The area is safe; there are restaurants, various businesses and a Safeway in walking distance. When I am in the Sacramento area, I try to stay here.
Not to forget the sparkling pool & jacuzzi.

We stopped here to visit friends and this motel allows dogs we have small dog. This place is clean and away from main street. We will be back in October.

Lauren at the front desk was the best! Super friendly, charismatic, and helpful. The rooms weren’t the best but was made up for in customer service!

Marii was amazing help she was at the front desk when we checked in she was super polite and very uplifting and happy and helped us get a room quick and a room that we wanted. Will be coming back again next time we’re In area

Marii was an absolutely fantastic. She was helpful and welcoming and I got a room I was extremely happy with. I wouldn’t choose another hotel in this area because of the service marii provided. I would stay here again just because of how outstanding her mannerisms and attitude were.

Front desk staff was very friendly. The rooms were gross. They allow smoking in some rooms. Unfortunately we were put in one and there was no non smoking rooms available. Dirty rooms and uncomfortable beds.

Decent room, not quite sure why the floor was so incredibly slick it was crazy!
But we loved the fact that they had a smoking room available for me and my girlfriend, and then the next day the lady at the front desk had no problem giving us a late checkout! Thanks Motel 6 Dixon!

Very basic room, but clean, make sure to request non-smoking floor, not just non-smoking room, otherwise the smoke smell is a serious assault on your nose!

If you just need to shower and sleep. Fine. But we needed to get out of the house due to our own plumbing issues. I requested the handicap room as I am 8.5 mos pregnant. Decided to take the opportunity to get some nice showers in and then take a nice bath.
Well. The shower head was covered in hard water and debris. The pole to adjust the height of the shower head literally just fell off the wall when we attempted to attach the head. The screws looked very rusted and the caulking was dried out. The tub was also a standard tub. Had I needed a shower chair it would not have fit. All the railings they put in also reduced how much space there was in the tub. Decided to go ahead and attempt a bath anyway.
The tub did not plug at all. There was no faucet for it so you had to fill it with the shower head. My husband asked the front desk for a tub stopper and they gave him one but for the wrong type of drain. Useless. We used some makeshift plastic cover instead. Finally I gave up and asked to be helped out of the water. I reached for one of the hand rails and it came directly out of the wall. Luckily my husband was right there and I didn't fully slip! My husband was furious. What if I was alone? What if someone had a wheelchair. They could most certainly get in and around the room but they could seriously injure themselves. It is an absolute lawsuit waiting to happen.
Other notes, the microwave was cracked across the front so we refused to use it. Though the room was clean the bed was extremely uncomfortable and seemed unstable. I tried to plug my little hard drive into the USB port on the TV so we could at least watch a movie but the tv was only set to dish network and wouldn't let us access the inputs. But at least we had free WiFi?
I gave the location 3 stars because it's local and right next to a bunch of fast food, which you'll need if you stay here because you obviously won't be able to make a bag of popcorn in a broken microwave.
We did get a minor discount because we had originally planned to stay two days and they lower the rate for multiple days. But, because of our issues they let us cancel the second day and keep the discounted rate.
