I had a promotional cash bonus pending and the representative in this location switch my account and now citi bank is denying $300 bonus for me keeping a certain amount of money in the account for over 6 months! The promotion was for only 90days and this bank ruined it for me. I'm think of closing my account and letting everyone know not to fall for this scam!

This morning I trying sent some money and ask clearly the guy how to do. He answered me THEY DON'T ACCEPT ANY CASH. Was a big sorprise banks don't acept any cash? was absolute absurd and irrational way to help customer. We do business every with this bank. Either I asked about money order or cash cashier, he said me " you need to have business account " I have one and he didn't either accepted. Whow. absolute helpless banking with this Citi bank. He and his coworkers watched and absolute denied help me in this manner.

Parking is difficult to get into because as you pull into the drive way , )cars are parked alongside the only driveway, from the narrow driveway of a small narrow street) So if someone is leaving the bank or coming it's too narrow for coming and going to pass into the driveway to the actual parking lot. Very bad planning if the parking lot is full.

Worst service ever by William Diaz and Lisa Lee. I gave a star as a thank you to Abel Ayala for service provided.Abel started the process for refinancing everything was approved but unfortunately he had to leave the branch , my case was handed to William Diaz , I received an email that my case was in the last step of closing, William asked for my W-2 form saying that it was missing the bottom part I sent it and when I called him to make sure he got it he said that my case was cancelled, no explanation, he said he could start a new one but now rates are higher. , I called his manager Lisa Lee to find out what happened since it was approved and almost closing and all she said was sorry. Definitely the worst experience. .Definitely will be closing my accounts with them.

I can't speak much to how this location is in general, or how Citibank is as a bank overall. They do charge monthly fees for certain types of accounts, much like any other big bank, which is the reason we went to this location - so we could close an account. This review is limited to just that particular service. Based on my experience closing my accounts at BofA long ago (sign up with a good credit union people), I expected to wait a long time and deal with a bank salesperson who would try to convince us to keep the account open. I don't know how Citibank normally handles account closures, but they treated it like a normal teller transaction (withdrawal, deposit, change request, etc.). Might be because of the pandemic, I don't know. It was quick and easy though, just insert the card and wait for the teller to pull up some info., close the account and give you whatever funds are owed to you. It really felt like just any other routine service and we were pleasantly surprised.

They are always so friendly. Parking is horrible but to me they make up for it with the inside ATM. It is my fav part of this branch. I also love the fact that they sterilize after each customer has been at the teller window. TY Citi Great job!

Unfortunately, bad experiences including having to deal with a Rude Female Customer, more about that. First, not a good area, which may be why they open so late 10A. 2nd; Parking lot access and exit is bad, as it's a busy intersection, and a blind right turn to Firestone. 3rd; There's only 1 bank entrance and exit, the other was locked. 4th; There's 2 ATMs, but the outside one is often not working. The inside one could be blocked by people waiting to enter, and some customers are rude line cutters. Like the black woman driving this vehicle. She wears a company ID around her neck and parks Handicapped space. Although She Walks Fine. She drives a Honda 4 Dr CR-V hatchback, see photo. One of the problems is the customers are unable to form a line, and 10A opening is too late. Another weird thing, were several parked cars along the side of bank, with people inside eating food. Why would a real bank allow that?

I wanna personally thank your corporation for not being like other banks and making issues and creating problems for their customers and then banking on opportunity's! In my eye you are what we need I. The industry to help people and educate them I. Ways they understand not STEAL THERE MONEY LIKE BANK OF AMERICA! You deserve a Congressional /Senate/ Presidential Certificate for being above the Rest!

Have been trying to get thru a representative to find out if my payment for my safe deposit box has been accepted. Mailed it at the post office a week ago today. After waiting almost an hour got rep and she did not understand English very well. I stated I wanted to find out if Citibank has received my payment... She kept insisting was it checking or saving. Duh... I stated safe deposit box again. Then I asked for another rep that speaks English and she disconnected me. UGH!!!!!!!!. On a recording again for a half hour.....

Called my downey citibank branch today when they opened at 10, to close 1 of my 2 savings accounts. The lady that answered was clearly annoyed, and was rude and snippy with me, and said, exasperated, "We don't do that over the phone, come into the branch with your ID and Card" and hung up on me. A quick google search, and hmm what do you know! YOU CAN. I called the main citibank service line at 1(888)248-4226 and was greeted warmly and helped quickly and easily. They verified my information, closed that savings account all in less than 4 minutes. The experience I had this morning left a bad taste in my mouth. On top of that, there aren't many citibank branch locations, banking hours aren't the best, and the downey branch is always understaffed with very few tellers, most often there are only 2; who frequently make and initiate longer personal conversations even when the lines are long. Will be moving everything over to chase soon.

Worse customer service, I have been there twice once without an appointment and another with appointment both times I waited for an hour both times with no luck. The person I scheduled appt with was not ready for me after an hour, therefore I left. This Branch has no customer service skills. They make it impossible for you to open an account

40 minute wait no attendance and you can hear everything the personal bankers are telling the other clients. I heard numbers account numbers and how much the other customers owed Easily commit fraud . Left's not coming back
