While doing christmas shopping i stopped by at this jd sports location in Downey at stonewood mall. I asked an employee for some shoes at that point I think I interrupted her cause she was on her phone then she just told me she was gonna check she used her mic to call it in. I saw as the shoes were delivered to the front counter. She never got back at me as I waited there was 3 employees all in there phones one had a badge that said manager I got up and as I was leaving the store I told him thank you your doing a great job you just lost a customer he didn't even care to ask what was my issue or if he could help. Good thing SHOE PALACE was right in front were they got me what I wanted really quick and the employees there were not on there phones. Thank you SHOE PALACE and to jd sport you guys might want to check on your employees and management team. This was on Sunday between 11 am and 12 pm just so u can check your cameras.

I found an special offer in the women’s corner so I asked for the pair of shoes in my size. The guy who gave me them was less motivated and it took some time to get the pair. I tried them on and wasn’t convinced about the quality. One of the shoes was already in a bad condition because it was tried on a couple of times. I asked if there’s another pair in my size - the guy said no without checking on it. He took the shoes and returned them to the stockroom even though I hadn’t already said if I would take them. I strolled around the store and noticed another pair of THOSE shoes in the kids corner. It was the same size - so the guy must’ve lied about the availability before. I asked again for the counterpart and he brought me another one in a good condition. I felt a little fooled but took it anyway.
The 3 girls behind the counter were not interested in any interaction with me. I was the only person willing to pay but I had to impose to do so! It took some time to get there attention because they where so busy talking about their personal stuff.
All in all it was disappointing.

Melissa's service was very bad; she was very rude, barely spoke to us, and never helped with the problem of the defective sneakers. I will never shop at this store again. If you are looking for quality and good service, this is not the place.

All employees had a bad attitude. No one wanted to help. The cashiers were also in a disgusting mood. Avoid this store at all costs.

Kinda disappointed. Went yesterday saw some shoes on sale they only had 3 sizes luckily had my size 12 so I asked to get them they took like 4 min to supposedly look came back and told me there out. I kinda didn’t believe them because one of the workers literally add 3 sizes on the list of they had. So I send my girlfriend the next day to see if they sell her the shoes and sure enough they sold her the shoes the supposedly didn’t have. I think employees hiding shoes so they can buy them themselves. Very disappointing and shady

Employees doing a return were letting the customer shop around instead of just refunding the item initially so she kept going back to the register to see how much items were and held up everyone. They had 10 ppl in line and one other cashier. They should have just refunded her and told her to get back in line for the new items she wanted to buy with the credit.

Employees here were caught leaving sale tags on full priced items. You can’t advertise as being on sale just to sell at full MSRP.I wouldn’t have said anything but the employee was rude when I corrected her about items being on sale.

Like chickens with their heads cut off.I thought they had a good system with the screen showing you your size request, my first time here. I didn't hear from anyone in 30 min and I went to the cashier that's when they told me it was out of stock but somehow it was still on the screen SMHEven if they see it's out of stock, they will waste your time by checking but they won't tell you because they want you to keep browsing. Horrible customer service.

2 / 3 months worked for this new location, did electrical job for entire store but at the end didn't pay us even called joe Collins but didn't care about it hate jd sports we made claims against them

Dec 23 I bought 2 pairs of shoes and went home and when wrapping realized 1 of the boxes was to light and a shoe was missingHad to drive 40 mins back and asked for discount/recomp for a waste of my time on their error. Downey manager did not care and said they could only give us another pair because her team member who had helped us prior stated she put both shoes in the box. So her word against ours and that was it. We told her it was their error and im sure they can check cameras. We returned everything refuse to give my business to a company that isn't considerate of the customer nor providing excellent customer. Such a waste of time especially a few days before Christmas. But again now I see why comments are negative about this store.
