Customer service is ok, not great, they do not go above & beyond. You can tell its just a job for them. This location takes at least 20-30 min. For pickup & drop off. So plan ahead.

This place is a huge scam, if I could give this place a 0 star I would.My brother had rented a car from here and it was around 1,200$ ,then after they continue to take more and more money that led up to around $3,000. When they charge you, it’s there, but when you refresh, everything it deletes so you have no proof that they took money. But the thing is that It was charged on my mother’s card, because her card was the card that used to rent the car, and they never asked for permission . Be aware they are professional scammers, but luckily, my mother took pictures before they deleted the evidence.

I am extremely disappointed with my rental experience last week. I held a reservation for about 5-6 months on a rental that guaranteed the vehicle. I checked my reservation regularly just to make sure no changes were made that I should have been aware of. On the day of the reservation, I went to pick up the rental, and I was told that the vehicle I had reserved for months was not at the location. I was distressed because at this point the entire trip that I had planned relied on this rental. I asked to speak with a manager or someone who could help me because I had not counted on this and honestly I had no idea what to do. After waiting for 30 minutes for a manager someone finally approached and told me the only thing that could be done was for him to try to get the same vehicle from their LAX location but it would take at least an hour. At this point I was fuming, because I had been waiting at this location for an hour and I was supposed to be on the road with my family. I gave them a few more minutes hoping something miraculous would happen but unfortunately, nothing did so I eventually told them to cancel the reservation and I left. This was a terrible inconvenience and my plans were unfortunately altered because of this as I expressed to the manager and I wasn't offered any kind of help, compensation, or anything that could try to rectify what I went through. I wouldn't recommend any one trust to rent with this company and honestly, if I could give 0 stars I would.

They're pleasant enough but don't come around noon. Something about them having to move cars or something, they just tried to rush me out of the office. I'm President's Circle status, used to being treated a certain way, and this location failed to acknowledge that. Then I was given an EV that had a quarter battery. That's 45 minutes of my plans used up to recharge the car first. I should have gotten it fully recharged!
Overall, they were friendly in a dismissive sort of way. Like they're annoyed they had customers sort of way.

Received the best customer service from Christian, he is very nice and professional, I recommend Hertz in Downey 100% both customers service reps are the best!

Do not rent a car from these thief's or better said scammers they will charge your card like crazy and overdraft your bank account even if u up to date with your payments I speak for experience so think twice before making that mistake honestly the manager and staff are a joke and have no idea what customer service is really bad business but karma will hit them for scamming honest and hard working people they need to shut down this crooked business.?

⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ to all that rent from here using Uber...they are allowing to rent online and you drive all the way down to hertz for them to tell you there are no cars available...Hertz needs to be shutdown for that. Having people drive all the way there to find out no cars..but online there available...don't rent from here
