Such horrible customer service …. Horrible horrible I went to get a few items I asked one of the workers if she knew the difference between then papers for the copy machine and she said no I really don’t she didn’t even say I’ll ask and get that information for you she just walked away . And once I headed that the cashier I asked the cashier if he can have someone help me bring the paper Because it was to heavy and he pretended to look and around he said there isn’t anyone and I can’t leave my place he didn’t even try to call someone I hurt my back putting the copy paper box in my cart never will I come back to shop here

Went in to have some copies made for our Youth Football team. Customer service was great. Very friendly and helpful. They assisted me in finding an online coupon for discounts and we did! Saved big time.

just nowNEWThe worst customer service I have ever dealt with. The managers there today should not have their positions and need training on how to talk to people. I was being so nice and they were so rude. I will NEVER go back to OfficeMax in Downey. They do not deserve my money. Too many competitors with cheaper prices. The cashier though was so kind...he needs to be the boss!

1. Customer service SUCKS in the printing department2. Their equipment is so outdated and jams a lot.3. There is no where printed IN WRITING in the policy that says labor work will be charged if you send pictures to be printed by an employee. It's their job, and not the customer fault to get pay minimum. I had just encountered a situation where the employee charged me for 3 photos 4x6 $ 4.65. When he was charging me I saw a charge that said round up to nearest dollar and I asked what that was? He said the first 2 pictures are no problem but if they have to do more a full dollar had to be round up for labor! Wtf are you serious?! He said because people when they send a lot of pictures and he's alone and selecting pictures is a lot of work. Once again is not the customer fault your work is understaffed, and today there was no one in line. Sooo...This was not my first time printing pictures or invitations and never heard about this. Well good to know, because I won't be coming back or recommending anyone.Walgreens is cheaper and better quality.

The floor of this Office Max is beyond gross and disgusting. It is shockingly filthy and gives this business a very unwelcoming look. When I asked an employee why the floor was so dirty, they said the manager did not want to pay to have it cleaned. This used to be a nice office supply store where I used to shop all the time. I haven't been here in awhile and was quite alarm by how empty and dirty it now looks. Curb appeal and cleanliness will go a long way to attract customers again.

Don't print here! I was charged $2.52 for 1 black & white paper print! Go to Office Depot instead and print for 30¢ and no minimum. Never coming here! Plus the staff is not friendly.

So I needed to buy a computer desk for my son today, we ordered on line since it seemed to be in stock at this location and we needed it today. Long story short, we did not like the desk when we went to pick it up but they did have other ones on display to choose from. We asked someone regarding our order to see if we could cancel the order and purchase something else. We were greeted and helped by Armando a store associate who by far has been one of the best customer service experiences I have received in a while not just here but in general. Armando not only was super helpful with the return but he also helped us choose something that was suitable for our needs and a couple of other things he suggested which we were not thinking in buying like a mouse pad and a hand rest... we also purchased a chair since we felt so comfortable with Armando being so nice and helpful. If you ever stop by here for anything I highly recommend to ask for Armando, he will help you get what you need with a smile on his face... shout out to you Armando!!! Great customer service , keep up the good work!!

So I go to an OfficeMax back in July to ship an XBOX Series X bundle to a buddy. It's a Sunday. I pay for the shipping and leave the package at the store. I do this while thinking it's Monday by the way. The package is supposed to arrive by that Thursday according to the shipping info I was given by the clerk at OfficeMax.Flash forward 2 MONTHS (many calls and emails happen between the store and myself sending documents including original invoices for the items that were supposed to be shipped)I called FedEx to follow up on the claim/investigation that was supposed to only take 2-3 weeks to resolve with the OfficeMax store. They say that the claim that the store filed was denied by FedEx and that I need to call the store to follow up with them. I call the store and speak with the same manager who "helped" me 2 months ago. He tells me that all he can do is file ANOTHER claim with FedEx and to resend the documents that I originally sent 2 months ago.DON'T USE OFFICEMAX OR FEDEX. THEY ARE TERRIBLE COMPANIES THAT DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE AVERAGE CONSUMER.
