I want to say they have very bad customer service at the customer service area. There was a employee that was behind the counter with out a name tag or blue vest I find out his name is JP I don't know he thinks he's a manager or covering as a manager but he did a very poor job at it he was NOT very understanding nor will to help less trying to find a solution to my problem that I had with a price. JP the there team did not honor their shevelf price. Even when another employee told every one the price of the item he still declined giving me the price. I don't understand why would JP be part of any management team. I dont understand why felt like he had some type of power. When all he could have said I don't have the ability nor the authority to change the price. You will have to wait for the main manager. Very poor character and bad at his roll at Walmart in downey need to have him re evaluate for his roll there. Not professional at all. Need to change his attitude 100%

I wanted a flashlight because me and my friends wanted to go explore a dark forest late out at night. However to my avail the workers did not seem interested. I asked begged and pleaded yet no worker had the keys to open the sacred flashlight cabinet. We waited for 45 minutes asking every worker to open the doors but alas we left empty handed. If walmart can send me a flashlight to compensate me that would be much appreciated. But for now they lost a very loyal customer.

This place needs some serious help! I realize it's shopping on a tight budget, but that shouldn't mean they should also have budget workers. Nobody knows how to answer a simple question or even give basic information using complete sentences. I asked a worker a simple question about where the pick up area is, and he just mumbled something without even looking up. I can't be certain what he mumbled but it sounded like, "It's on the corner" he seemed to consumed with his phone to interact with me. He gave the impression the he was bothered that I even asked him. When I called the number that says to call to check in (the link in the app wasn't working) all I got was a recorded message that says they can't answer the phone and to leave a message. Save yourself hassle and frustration and shop elsewhere. This place doesn't deserve your hard earned money.

This is by far the worst Walmart I ever been. The employees treat customers horribly. I've been accused of stealing when I had to ring up $300 of items by myself. I didn't catch an item and the supervisor came over with her scanner and started scanning everything to make sure I paid for it. While I was doing all the work. At this point one of girls were helping me and she still thought I was stealing. Just a straight ***** about it. No help and only gave a condescending attitude when I questioned her. Zero stars. Walmart employees act like they got $$$$ in stock and they watching every item. Do better people! I had the money to pay and it's worth getting in trouble for a towel that was on clearance that was underneath an already scanned item. I would have caught it when I bagged everything up.

Don't waste your time here. To avoid unnecessary stress and being mistreated just go to another store. Today I made the mistake of going to this one in Downey. I got there at 8, I got a tv mount and waited at the counter for an employee because I wanted to purchase a tv as well. I waived down couple of people that were talking in a corner to assist me and they said the person in electronics was late and wasn't there and that they couldn't help me out. I decided to wait (another mistake, just wasted my time), a man comes in rushing throwing things around and he asked me, what do you want? (Very rudely), I told him I wanted to buy a tv, his response was: "I am not going to help you! Go get yourself a cart and take the tv down yourself if you want it, I'm not going to help you, no employee is going to help you, bring it here and I'll ring you up." I told him " do I look like I need your help to lift a tv, I don't need your help at all". I went, took the tv down myself, put in in the counter, they guy left right before I got to the counter on purpose, who knows where he went to hide, I was ready to pay and leave but there he was playing games. So I left everything in front of his counter and left. He is there to do a job, he can put things back himself. I don't understand why they hire people like that and why they don't do mystery shopping on their employees and give the boot to those who deserve it. I wasn't going to let no uneducated ghetto talking ex-gangster ruin my day and went somewhere else to purchase a tv. Merry X-Mas to the person on the counter, left your present right there.

The worst Walmart for pick up and delivery.. employees there are the laziest.. except for George.. but this Walmart should hire more employees to get the job done.. waiting in line for 30-45 mins for a Effen order is ridiculous

First I want to say that the only reason I gave this place two stars is because the two individuals who helped me today were rockstars! They tried everything to help me locate a toy that says in the system there're 12 on the floor but were not there. They went over and above to try to help me get what I came into the store for. So thank you to those two individuals. Now I cannot say the same thing about the store and the way the company is being ran. I would rather pay more for an item at Target than deal with Walmart. Unfortunately, this time Walmart was the only place that supposedly had the specific toy I was looking for. I went to this specific location and was told by the two amazing representatives that the store had 12 on the floor. We all looked high and low but we could not locate even one. NOT EVEN ONE! The one representative went into the back and later came out saying that they talked to the toy manager who informed them that they sold out of that toy. I was like okay. Thanks for checking. I would not think anything of it but went to another Walmart store and even called before going. The person assured me that they had at least 10 on the floor and 4 in the back. Well, I bet you can guess what happened...Nope! NOT EVEN ONE! None could be located. Not anywhere. Despite the system saying the store has this toy, not one could be located. So I wasted a day trying to find this toy that supposedly two Walmart stores have but none could be found. It seems odd that two places who supposedly have double digit amounts of this particular toy doesn't even have one available....Hmmm! Just another reason to add to the list of reasons I refuse to shop at Walmart. I greatly appreciate the individuals who tried everything to help me find this toy. The same cannot be said about Walmart as a company, etc. Oh and you might be wondering what is this toy I have been referring to? It's the viral Little Tikes Dream Machine. It's just odd that the system says they have many available but none could be found. I have never experience anything like this at other places like Target.

5 Stars for 3 associates that assisted me on a very crazy day when all the locals were flooding the store because of Tropical Storm Hilary. Associates Tarsha Cheyenne & Judy I really have to take the time to give the young ladies recognition for keeping it together when they were all getting bombarded from every angle by customers and still managed to provide exceptional customer service. I've managed for over 27yrs and I know first hand how hard it is to find key players. I really hope that top management takes the time to give these associates recognition and ensure you secure these associates give them a promotion and a raise these associates should be considered valuable assets to your organization especially after seeing that this store had very low ratings. This type of customer service by these associates will help bring your store ratings up. If your management fails to acknowledge these reviews I encourage you to go elsewhere, because it is very important that the organization you work for values their employees. Thank you all again for all your help Saturday! Keep up the good work

By far the worst experience I needed assistance getting a bike patch because it's locked. Pusher the red button waited about 10 minutes multiple employees walked past me I asked if they could help all of them said no. The employee working the department Albert melado looked at me multiple times saw I pushed the button no help another customer asked for help he helped her right away I figured since he decided to help her I could ask since he had the glass door open he could assist me he ignores me closes and begins to walk the lady had to redirect him to help me.

HORRIBLE service‼‼‼‼ So many employees and no one helped us or even attempted to help. Pushed the button for assistance with items that are locked up, baby bottles. Waited for 15 min workers from nearby departments chatting away and even looked at us, but NO one helped. Got to the register and asked for a manager, I was referred to a manager named Jackie, talking to her was like talking to a wall... I hope this manager get retrained to learn how to deal with a situation brought to her attention.... as well as ALL the other workers who were chatting....first and last time here...not even worth one star

Walmart pay doesn't work most of the time. If you pay for Walmart plus, you'll still end up paying full price at the gas pump, because Walmart pay always has an issue. I think this is deliberate programming by Walmart and not a glitch. There's no way a company as large as Walmart would have consistent payment issues with its app and not address it.

I've been waiting in the automotive department waiting for assistance for 30 mins !!! All I need is something out of a glass case, this whole thing would be a 5 min in and out trip but nobody has come to help. I've asked several employees that pass by and they say they don't have keys and keep walking. I've called the store twice to request assistance, I hear them page on the speakers but nobody actually shows up. I need a electronic jumper for my business and the incompetence here is causing a massive delay to my clients. I would have left already but there are no other stores that are currently open to purchase what I need.

I am very disappointed with the online and delivery service!! I took every step to follow the instructions because an item was not delivered as stated in my text message they sent my way. I looked all over the property and did not see the box. So, I called the store. No one ever answered the phone, and it just kept ringing. The number they provide it was not available as well. I wrote a message on their website as instructed. No one has called me back and I have not received an update regarding a refund. Product was for an elderly person. If you're ordering online, keep an eye on the tip to the driver. They will apply a high tip if you're not aware. You can adjust the tip amount.
