Wait times is terrible. This bank have cut down bank tellers to one and have long line of customers waiting to be taking care of. It is even difficult to get a personnel to deal with CDs and wire transfers.

Employees are very nice. Branch seems improved and all employees welcome you with a smile. Love coming to this place.

The supervisor (basically females) never help their workers on the teller sections, it creates a long line and wait.

There's always a long line no matter what time you come, they need to hire more tellers.

They always have like 2 tellers and supervisor should jump in help instead of just looking and act like they are busy.

If I could give no stars I would.. Always 4 tellers in rear of glass chopping it up n 1 teller working helping the customers with a line 5 or more customers.. dont the employees know that us customers can see them talking and laughing while we're waiting?? No customer service skills here..

Went in yesterday, they had people call off and didn't have enough staff to help. Came back today and got the same story about being short staffed.

This bank is terrible! Always closes early like 4:45, had only one teller today. The Security Guard turned people away telling them the manager don't work as a teller to help people that's not his/her job! So unprofessional and ridiculous. How does this branch manager still have a job! The district / regional or area manager needs to get fired as well....how does one let a branch go undermanned like that....this is a huge risk factor. I'd rather it close then put the only loyal employee at risk. And that security guard, should stay in his observant lane....him issuing statements on behalf of Wells Fargo May get folks that bank with them upset with his loose lips. All bad !!!

( Saturday 6/26/21) I came in today a little before 11 am and the line was pretty long. There was only one teller and at the other window was apparently the branch manager. Both were pretty decently fast and i could tell they felt overwhelmed, my issue was that at one point the manager came out of her window to talk to the folks in line- she thanked us for our patience but then proceeded to tell us that 3 of her tellers "quit on her on Tuesday" "to please have patience with the current teller b/c she was the only teller they had and that if she calls out sick they have to close the store." Like what?!! Please don't go around telling us that your 3 staff quit on you, it makes your store and your management seem like a hot mess!! Just some advice just say "thank you for your patience we are understaffed at the moment but we appreciate your business and will get to you as soon as possible" there, that simple! My god are all the Wells Fargo's in Downey incompetent! Is this an issue with the district manager??Seriously the other store on Firestone next to Porto's is just as awful. I'm going to have to go to another city. Waited more than 25 minutes in line only for the manager, who's the one who attended me, to tell me she had no information on the question I had regarding my Line of Credit and she could not help me, she just directed me to some 1800- number. Seriously just hire some people- hire bilingual people- and get your sh*t together. The line was crazy long outside when I left and I heard the manager tell their security guard not to let anymore ppl get in line. Not coming here anymore btw and not going to the other Downey store either

I went with my grandparents to this bank, and KEVIN QUINTANILLA was very helpful and very kind with them. We don't have an appointment and he help them I was very happy because in this days is very difficult find people like him THANK YOU for you help. God bless you.

I guess it's a hit and miss when you need to walk-in to the bank. It's usually not busy when I go around 12pm. But anytime after that is packed. Inside is clean and cool (AC) Staff: I would say the teller is nice and professional. I haven't had any problem beside having a bad experience with a manager who didn't know what she was talking about. I don't deal with incompetent people. I decided it's not work to argue. I went the next day and the manager who I dealt with knew what she was doing. Overall, they try their best to make the experience smooth and quick.

Poor customer service, waiter for a banker for over an hour for a banker, had to leave. The bakers don't want to help they'll rather you go online, then they wonder why we are going automated and loosing jobs to India and the Philippines. This branch needs training ASAP
