I have been going here for about a year now. I have never had an issue until today. I had been having issues with my brakes for about a week now. I took my car in at around 10:15 AM requesting a diagnostic - nothing more. Edward Gutierrez usually helps me, and he has never given me an issue. This time I was helped by Darlene. She kept pressuring me to get a full service. I know I needed one but I told her I wanted to wait for the end of the week because I had work at 1:30 PM. I told her multiple times I just wanted a diagnostic. She kept pushing for me to get some service done. I agreed to get an oil change because she told me it would take about 20-30 minutes and she would ask them to check my brakes while they were at it. An oil change shouldn't take close to 3 hours. I told her multiple times I had work at 1:30 so I could not get any major service besides a diagnostic. I trusted her word. I didn't leave the dealership until 1:15 PM. I had asked for my car at about 12:45 PM and she said it was still being held up. Afterwards she told me my car needed $4000 in repairs. She kept pressuring me into getting it done that day. I was already running late and I kept telling her no. She did not respect my wishes the first time. She also wanted me to get on a payment plan for $900 and pay the rest out of pocket that same day. I felt as though she was trying to take advantage of the fact that I was a young girl without a man present. She backed off a bit once I called my father. Darlene was very persistent and did not respect my wishes. I had told her multiple times I had work and she assured me it would not take more than 30 minutes. I ended up being 15 minutes late to work because of a 3 hour oil change. She was so unprofessional. The whole experience was disrespectful, degrading, and felt like a cash grab.

I recently visited Nissan Duarte to service my vehicle and Felipe assisted me. Felipe was very professional and did a great job in addressing all my concerns. He was really helpful. Overall I was very satisfied with the service I received. I would recommend this dealership and would ask for Felipe or any of the staff as they seem very helpful.

I recently worked with Darlene in the service department. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated the time with her as She explained clearly what needed to be done to my vehicle. The service was complete in a timely manner. I even got an unexpected car wash! Thank you

Took my husbands car here, and I had an easy experience . The Girl that greet me was Darlene she was nice and patient with me answer all my questions. I will come back to her and my car was clean. Thank you Nissan Duarte.

Since I got my Nissan. Getting my vehicle serviced with Cesar has been great. Have never had an issue with the service cesar provides. He’s very efficient, very detailed when it comes to explaining the services I need on my vehicle. I recommend taking your car to Cesar in service.

I have a long history with this dealership with regard to servicing my vehicles over the years. The dealership began changing hands every few years beginning about a decade ago, which has had me going elsewhere for the last several years. I decided to give it another try to see if it would be worth renewing a relationship with them. I called in to the service department two days ago and spoke with Darlene. I asked her if my car, being currently an Infiniti, would qualify for the oil change special on their website given that the motor is the same as a mid-90's 300ZX. She said she could do it and asked for my info. I made an appointment for 4:00 pm. I arrived at 3:45, she wasn't there, although she informed me of that and said anyone could help me with the service. Another service advisor said there was no way they would do it, as it's an Infiniti (btw, I've had 30+ oil changes at this location over the last 15-20 years), and said I'd need to speak to Darlene. I called her this morning and she denied ever talking to me! Unbelievable and ZERO integrity! I escalated to her manager, Daniel Hernandez, left two voicemails, and have yet to hear back from him. I'm definitely back in "avoid Nissan of Duarte" mode, but will pursue reconciliation, as they wasted my time and gas driving over there. By the way, the overall vibe around the place is a real downer compared to years ago, as if the dealership "died" and only a shell is left. When it was Performance Nissan, years ago, it was always a beehive of activity in sales and service, this is not even close to the same organization any longer. Very sad indeed.

Run away! I wish I could give Nissan ZERO stars. If you want a reliable car don’t come here. Nissans transmissions aren’t good please do your research so you don’t end up like me. My year and model break very easily and they won’t help me. The cost should be 100% free since I’m still leasing the car but nope just for a transmission it’s $4,000 and I’ve been quoted a little less but still way more than I can afford. This car has been my worst nightmare. Thanks Nissan for screwing me over. This car should be recalled!!! It’s so unsafe ?

Costco recommended Nissan of Duarte. I'd owned my previous Nissan Murano for 14 years and the 144,000 + miles were without incident. This year I invested $8,000 in repairs which I consider more than reasonable but when the compressor on the AC went out, it was time. I visited Nissan of Duarte to look at a new one. Jose was the salesman. He did a great job of showing me the new Rogue. I received more than what I expected for the trade in and paid cash for the new Rogue. It's another great Nissan product. Thank you.

They do "ok" work - but won't even wash your car - blaming " the pandemic" and "the drought" ... both of which are over! I realize everyone stopped doing it for a while - but come on! Other dealers do now - just "cheap" pinching their pennies. Bought several cars there for 20+ years - we're done.

I would’ve given 4/5 stars for my service today but I had a not so good ending to a great start of service.I bought my Kicks here so I feel comfortable going to the same dealership. Also the service people have always been helpful & have taken the time to build a strong costumer relationship with their customers.I called in the morning for a service request & was able to be seen soon by Darlene. I asked her if they could check an issue that’s been occurring & she stated that they would charge an extra fee and if I went through with their diagnostic, no fee if I didn’t. I told her another dealership did the same & I would check it next time.When I arrived the young lady at the front greeted me & told me Darlene would be there in a moment. I greeted Felipe and Edward & seen Cesar who i usually go to since I’ve bought my car. So I asked if he could help us instead since he’s who I feel more comfortable with.Cesar helped me above & beyond. He went through the database & compared what I did at the Cerritos location & suggested a few other things I should be aware of with my vehicle. He’s always honest & always explains in detail what is what. Cesar let me know that I had extended warranty & some points since I go there often. He even also heard my concerns that I shared with Darlene & said he’d take care of it.Cool, I left got a call a little over 1hr and 1/2 & was told my vehicle was ready.When I arrived I expected to be checked out by Cesar but wasn’t. Instead Darlene handled me. She wasn’t aware of the vehicle extended warranty nor the points.. also Cesar usually explains everything once more & lets me know of the difference in my estimate to the final price. It felt real cut & dry, not the same service I’m use to from the other service people. Was disappointed that the same service wasn’t represented in the other employee.

Dani and Lorena were great. They both were very kind and patient...also helpful.I like to do my own service so I most likely won't go there for that.My credit is bad so I appreciate that they helped me get a car. They also gave me a good deal on my trade in. My payment is high and the interest is horrible but I will try to bring it down once my credit improves. I am grateful they gave me a chance to own a new car. It feels good.

I was kidnap by Nissan. Seriously this not a joke. I was locked in their building by their employees until I handed over the keys. This place deserves no attention. This event happened in 2020 and I am still affected by the whole incident. I am a military veteran with ptsd and this made me fear for my own safetyI was called by the dealership and tricked into turning in my vehicle. They locked me in the building until I gave them the keys. Do not come to Nissan of Duarte.Background: After leaving the dealership with the vehicle I was called from the bank, and they asked for my address I told them I was driving to my duty station, and was sleeping in my car. They cancelled the loan. Without the dealership telling me this they threaten if I didn't come to sign a new contact that they would report the vehicle stolen. So I went to the dealership to sign a new contract, and upon arrival they brought me into the office, and asked for the keys. When I was suspicious they ran out and deflated the tires, and locked me in the building until I gave the keys.
