“They were professional, kind, clean & well staffed. I’m an ER nurse & Iron Horse compares well with the best human medical facilities in the nation, including Cedars Sinai and Walter Reed.Explaining pre & post procedure care, x-rays , meds- the Vet demonstrated excellent communication skills.Anyone who this review is too good is encouraged to read my review of OakVet animal hospital (under Detodog), where both compassionate care & professionalism were abysmal.”

“Excellent care, team offers multiple options to fit different budgets while always maintaining a high quality of care. Very sensitive to both my dog and cats needs and always go over estimates so I understand and know exactly what options are recommended and associated costs.”

“I took my animals to Four Paws for 8 years and realized how lucky I was when we moved away recently and had to find another Vet. They always took excellent care of my two dogs (a beagle mix and italian greyhound). They even were willing to help me with a prescription a few months after I had moved for a chronic problem my one pup has. Bottom line is they truly are about your animals. I promise you, you can't go wrong putting your furry friends under their care.”

“3-30-2024, by 12.5 lb dog was attacked by a 50+ lb Pitty/Boxer mix. We got him to Iron Horse Veterinary Hospital as soon as we could. They took him in immediately and gave him pain meds to make him comfortable. They tended to his wounds and took very good care of him. The bill was lower than they expected and my little guy is doing great.”

“This is an incredible, clean and friendly Shelter. I rescued a incredible Dog, Spudz, he has been a great Family Member. The SPCA Staff made the adoption seamless, they were extremely welcoming and treated the Animals wonderfully. It was a great experience.”

“It’s very far from us - Banfield Dublin East. But it was the only Banfield that has opening for my friend. We were so glad that we drove 45 minutes without traffic jams. The nurse and the doctor were both very attentive and down to earth. It was totally worth to drive out and him taken care of. Highly recommende!”

“Great vet! She will tell you honestly what needs to be done and is trustworthy. Her staff are all so kind and helpful. I treat my two large dogs (Corsos) here. Some vets (I have found in the past) are uncomfortable around large dogs and obviously the dogs sense that. All the staff here are very confident and comfortable around my large dogs and that makes all the difference!”

“I love this place. The front desk are welcoming and awesome, but a heads up to the extra charges of crating your dog while it waits for the vet! Our dog is anxious in a cage, so we wait close by until the vet is ready to see him! That is less anxiety for the dog and no extra fees which is ridiculous!”

“I have been bringing my dog here for about a year and have found Dr. Stepita to be knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate and patient. The policies regarding reservations and payment are strict so read carefully before booking an appointment and if you tend to have a chaotic life or are forgetful I would look for another option. I am happy with my dogs progress. Dr. Stepita puts a lot of time in to learning about your pet and it shows. A behaviorist is not a trainer, although there is some overlap in techniques, so be open minded and really listen to what she has to say also be prepared to do some work yourself because she doesn't wave a magic wand and everything is fixed. Your pet will improve with the work YOU do! My thought about the strict policies is that she needs to have them because she has probably been burned by clients in the past and also the people who make a point of keeping their appointments are really really serious about helping their pet and in some cases it may be their last hope before euthanizing so they will make sure and do the work. The follow up phone calls are very helpful and she also responds to emails. Her assistant Paige has also been very helpful with scheduling at times that work with my schedule.”

“A special "thank you" to Melissa at the front desk! I stopped by to ask about alternative therapies. She was very friendly, compassionate, and recommended contacting their Concord location regarding acupuncture services for my cat who is suffering with IBD. After sharing my lack of success with finding a cat pill syringe at local pet stores today, she graciously gave one to me at no charge. Just that one act of kindness made our day. Thanks, Melissa!”
