I moved to this area a year ago. Our property did not have a mailbox so we had a P.O. box in Jamul , we finally got a mailbox and Karen was very helpful with all the questions i had and helping me understand the process, The only reason i left 3 stars is because they open late and close early, it's sometimes hard to get my packages and i often have to pick them up from the post office because they will not come all the way up my road and deliver to my property, i don't get home till after they close and go to work before they open so it's almost impossible to get my deliveries. Please change your open and close hours

If you go to this location you will likely run into Karen as she is one of the few employees that work there. Just beware that she is often rude and clearly doesn't like her job. This location is small so today I stood outside for a while (arrived at 3:38 and post office closes at 3:45) when she realized there was somebody outside (about 10 minutes later) she yelled at me to open the door and when I open the door she tells me "I'm closed" so I explain I've been waiting outside she goes "well I'm busy helping somebody else"...which is kind of understandable because she's the only employee there but there's no need to give another customer attitude because you have to do your job. It's also no the fist time she's been rude to me or people I know. Hate going here because of her.

Nothing but issues with this post office since I moved here, four years ago! Karen Connolly (the manager) is rude to say the least. Not to mention she doesn’t take ownership when her or her team drop the ball, she just gives excuses that are irrelevant, and she threw my package on the ground in front of me in the mail room!

I find Caren, Dulzura's postmaster the most nice and friendly person that will take care of you. She puts and concentrate the time we deserve for our business. Being a very small place she makes it big with her empathy to all her clients. ❤ She makes me feel special, she goes an extra mile with her stickers to decorate our mail for our love one's, her smile and her employee a ver special guy. Very appreciated Caren????

The employees are very friendly and eager to please with any questions or postal needs you might have. Very tiny, but full service. A plus! Driving by you wouldn't notice it's a post office so very easy to pass up unless you know the area. I have been very pleased with the location any time we have packages to pick up, or when we send things out. They make the process very simple from basic envelope mail to big packages. Thank you for your pleasant and friendly attitudes, hard work, and being just a friend to the Dulzura community! Keep up the awesome work!

Located in the small village of Dulzura, I stopped in to the Dulzura U.S.P.S. Office today after a quick bite to eat next door at The Mini Market. I found out that this is the smallest official post office 2nd only to one in Alaska! I is a full service post office except for the part time hours(11:45-3:45 M-F, 11am-3pm Sat.) I was promptly served by a friendly smiling lady who was full of information and genuinely pleased to meet my postal needs. I neglected to ask her name, but "Thank You" for making my visit much more pleasant than my normal/past postal visits.

So far out as to be almost impossible to find, and paint is sparse. Not sure the office is worth the government expenditure but I suppose everyone needs a post office. Now the area is nice and very pretty though dry. I would like to live there but the office is small and not much shopping in the area? So what else to say just go in and on and say nothing if any value?
