I really like the Self Storage because they make us use heavy duty locks so nobody can break in and Deb who is the manager is super awesome! The hours are very decent too. She keeps up with it being clean. No vagrants that I know of. I'm happy. And the price is good toI.

Stay clear from this place!! Would rate as a zero.... There are no positive things that I could or would say about this place.... They hold on to your checks then deposit after the due date & charge you late fees, what kind of business does this... They also raised the rates from $60 to $70 starting January during the COVID pandemic without any notice, is it that hard to mail out a letter? They are hard to get a hold of, office hours are whenever... Rented a unit at Mott Mini Storage wrote 2 checks one for each place same time no problem for Mott Mini Storage but Dunsmuir Storage big problem.... Very interesting.... Highly recommend Mott Self Storage!

Jeff! Long time no speak! I was a patron of yours for over 5 years and wish I still had you as my dentist! I'm across country after the passing of my wife a few years back. I also lost everything thing else in my life, including my home of 15 years and the few things in my life I hopefully have in your storage units. They have been there...I hope...for 15 months. Ive never missed a payment and don't intend to. But I have a problem with the manager and was wondering if I could speak to you about it ASAP? Im 2900 miles across country with my mom, after the passing of my father and your manager all of a sudden refuses to accommodate a few simple requests, that could make both our lives less complicated. Especially mine as a customer. I'd really like to speak to you. I can be reached by the numbers on file....or facebook, if they have not mysteriously disappeared. As much as I'd like to say more positive things about this storage facility, I can't say much. The positive things are that their prices are fair and they don't price gouge like a lot of other storage facilities. The facility is also reasonably clean and safer than many; gated (code enforced) entrance. I have recommended them to a few people but we all seem to have similar feedback. What makes it rather unpleasant and why I would like to move my stuff out of there as soon as I'm able is: 1) The manager is in general quite rude. She does not appear to like her customers very much, and tends toward being argumentative or fault finding. My spouse and I rented this unit and have been quite taken aback by this. We do our best not to take it personally, although it may be intended to be, as I've heard this from a several others that either used to store their belongings there and one person that currently has a unit there. It is also difficult reaching someone in the office. The limited hours the voicemail says they are in the office, isn't always the case. What's most frustrating though is that they will not accept any credit card for autopay! This means, that (unless you're a local), you will have to call in every month to make a payment. Alternatively it means sending in a check. However, my spouse and I don't use checks, and haven't had to in some time. We may have to just for this business, especially since the last payment was refused because they won't allow payment from any credit or debit card that is not in the name of the person(s) renting the unit. They would not even accept a payment from my business partner, even when she offered to call in on my/our behalf so they can verify her. Essentially they make it extremely difficult to pay and pay on time. They also don't often return calls or emails in a timely manner, which results in late fees, as a previous review stated. The manager does seem to respond more promptly to texts, but I can share photos of our text dialogues that show that she really rather you didn't text her at all... unless it's something she considers a true emergency.

I have stored my property in this storage facility twice and I have never had a problem. Super nice service. I only had seen the person that ran it twice since I came in on odd days and hours. So if you need to store you property not a bad place to. I never personally had any problems.
