“I stayed two nights in rustic cabin 10. This cabin is over 100 years old, and to me, it is the best choice. They offer modern cabins for 2 or 3 times the price. And they offer hotel rooms. But i feel you can find those anywhere. This cabin has serious personality and is quite memorable. It has a bathroom and showet, they provide soap, shampoo, and great towels. Certain cabins have a balcony out the back door, with river views and a barstool type eating area. The front of the cabin has a porch, a rocking chair, a hammock swing, and a nice weber bbq in front of each cabin. Across the way is a park-like area with hammocks, plenty of picnic tables spaced out nicely, firepits, bocce ball, basketball, and little lights connected to all the trees. Hundreds of lights, and the stadff meticulousy checks and replaces burned out bulbs. It gets into the 80s in the room during the day, with no ac, but i left all the windows open and it will be 62 by morning. Really refreshing. A full fridge and freezer and a camping stove rounds out the kitchen. Plates, glasses, pots and pans and kitchen utensils are provided. Youre close to your neighbors so it feels like a bit of a community. The only downside is the freeway noise, as the resort is right along I-5. Without the freeway, it would be truly spectacular, but it takes a bit of effort to zone out the trucks and cars. Only other negative is the very cold pool, i opted not to swim. Maybe I'd like that more in August”
“Lovely hidden gem in a picturesque small town at the foot of Mount Shasta. Service was excellent, very friendly, and great recommendations for a surprisingly diverse food scene. Loved our stay and would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. Certainly, staying in Mount Shasta town makes a lot more sense than staying in Redding if you are visiting the area.”

“Had a lovely stay at this quaint location. The hotel is cozy and grand, with lots of yummy spots to sit and relax on the veranda, the lawn, or in the sitting rooms. We stayed with our pup and he was well welcomed with treats at reception.
The hotel made it easy to enjoy town and the nearby parks/trail access. Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend.”
“Nice rustic little cabin. Surrounded by trees. The lake is right there! There is a number to call and they'll bring towels to use at the lake. Bring your floaty, pool noodle, paddle board, etc. The lake is chill, swimmers, paddle boards, pontoon boats. We didn't see any jet skis or anything fast when we were floating around. The cabin has balcony with seating, a kitchen, living room with tv & fireplace, dining room , 2 bedrooms, 1 shower, 2 toilets. One bedroom has a tv. There's a place to get ice and do laundry. There's a spa on the property to book a massage, which is great after doing some of the amazing hikes in the area. There's a beautiful golf course, looks like you'll need a straight shot to avoid hitting one of the gorgeous trees, which provide shade and are plentiful. There's also sport courts for tennis or pickleball. Oh! And there are picnic tables and barbeque grills in front of the cabins. We grilled steaks one day and hotdogs another day. They told us we get 10% off in the resort restaurant, and there are lots of restaurants and stores in cute little towns a short drive away.”

“We stayed in the whisper room, so named for the owner's beloved dog, with our westies. The room was pre warmed by the staff. A few steps down from our doorstep was a small lawn for the boys to take care of business. Breakfast credit was included, and we chose Traci's corner Cafe. Wonderful food, good sized portions, hit the spot. Location wise, right next to Mount Shasta and the 3 mccloud falls. We had a wonderful time here.”

“Overall, good. The coffee machine is a joke in the rooms, so small and cheap. Beds were comfortable, rooms stayed comfortable. Showers were good. Great location. Free ice. Free breakfast (to go bags). We stayed 2 nights, but please upgrade the coffee pot/maker in rooms. Price is fair.”
“Very welcomed and taken care of by this family owned business. Very clean, was able to leave our trailer to make exploring much nicer and easy.
Very close to everything. The lounge aera was perfect to watch the sky and just sit and visit outdoors. Thank you it was fabulously wonderful.”
“It's such a cute little property. The gentleman who checks you in is very sweet and the rooms are very cozy. The bed was absolutely comfortable. The bedding was soft. Loved it.”

“The location is perfect and the service was absolutely amazing! The only downsides were that the room lacked a main ceiling light, making it quite dark, and the window wasn’t easy to open (though it might just have been us not figuring it out), which meant we couldn’t get much fresh air. Overall still a good stay!”

“We came late at night. We started the reservation on the phone. They took info, then sent a text with the link to complete the reservation, then sent the room number and the lock code via text. The process went smoothly”
“The Mossbrae Hotel completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I checked in, everything about this stay was exceptionally great.
Cleanliness: Spotless throughout the entire hotel and in the room. You can tell they take immense pride in maintaining high standards.
The Bed: Unbelievably comfortable! I had some of the best nights of sleep I've had in a long time
The Shower: Outstanding water pressure and high-end feel—a total luxury after a long day of exploring.
Everything here is truly top tier. I can’t recommend the Mossbrae Hotel enough and will definitely be returning!”
