I was there earlier this week, and just wanted to share what a great shop this is! The gentleman, Bob I believe his name was, is really knowledgeable on the area, and super helpful! Great customer service with an awesome selection of flies. Definitely will stop by every time I'm fishing in the area!

This is the best fly shop within 100 miles. I stop there every time I get to Dunsmuir. Bob has been an awesome proprietor carrying on the Ted Fay legacy and Steven, as is Bob extremely knowledgeable about the local tactics and hatches. Don't miss this shop if you're passing through Dunsmuir, Ca.

My first visit here was short but memorable - Bob and the other gentleman working there are wonderful to talk to and a wealth of knowledge. They have everything you might need to fish their waters effectively and some great resources, like their annotated map of the area, to guide you in the journey. I also bought some of Bob’s flies, which are beautiful. Give them a visit!

What an amazing experience today shopping and soaking up the great vibs. The owner of the shop was so very helpful with myself and my two grandchildren. Recommended by fly fishing guide Rick Cox we had a memorable afternoon. Delighted to support local and have this great family bonding time.

This was my first visit to Dunsmuir to fish the upper Sac & McCloud river. We visited and fished the area for a week. We stopped in the shop to check it out and spoke with Bob. Bob was very friendly and knowledgeable. He has a good fly selection and will share some area knowledge with you. The shop is about the size you would expect for a fly shop. The shop has just about everything you would need for a fishing adventure. He carries all the major brands like Simms & Patagonia. If you are fishing the area, this shop is worth checking out.

my favorite place in the world! Bob ties flies and I buy most of my quality clothes and favorite items here. Just purchased art work for my new home. a ceramic steelhead and a rainbow trout. I love Bob and the original owner too. ps. I can fly fish but try NOT to catch a fish and stress it out. it's Hilarious what I do to avoid catching one but I always do. yum. I have a secret recipe. foil, lemon, butter cooked in campfire!

I stocked up on some handmade flies, bought 2 pairs of felt sole fishing boots, and 2 license plate frames. I did not post photo of fishing boots. They're just boots !! I'm home for several days.
