“Gorgeous hotel in historic building; definitely one of the gems in the area! I can't speak for the hotel accommodation rooms and service, since I have stayed overnight here before, but the dining hall / front room entrance and downstairs hall is warm and charming, with an old-fashioned welcoming vibe that makes one immediately feel at ease. It is definitely a romantic and cozy environment, one that has been used for weddings on many occasion (including my friends and friends of friends of mine), and was met with very favorable reviews and cherished memorable moments. That said, it is one of the finest restaurants in the area; as good or better than many of the tastiest food joints and restaurants I've been to around the world. Highly recommend their dinner menu!! Wow! Well done, McCloud Hotel!! Delightful and ambient atmosphere, scrumptious (mostly organic) food, worth stopping in!”
