My toddler loves this place! While this isn’t Kidspace, which I compare most places to, it is perfect for what it is. The activities are diverse, clean, and organized. The price point is also good. I’d highly recommend a visit to see if you little one like the place, and I’m confident they will!

We're a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting parents, and we consistently recommend Playlab as a fantastic destination for parents with little ones up to about 5 years old. It's a clean, welcoming space equipped with the best toys that spark imaginative play. Plus, they offer an outdoor area and air-conditioned indoor space, ensuring comfort in both hot and rainy weather. The affordability is a bonus - a single entry fee allows for multiple visits per day, and they don't charge for adults.I've been a big Playlab fan since their Pasadena days, but I'm loving the Eagle Rock location even more. The outdoor area sets it apart - a rare find for a play space. I wish more places would make the most of our mostly sunny year-round weather. Sure, parks are an option, but for parents of active toddlers, having a semi-contained space with fresh air makes outings a lot easier.Overall, Playlab is an ideal spot for letting your baby explore or watching your toddler have a blast with dress-up activities while chatting with other parents. The friendly staff adds to the positive experience. We couldn't recommend Playlab more highly!

Really great half indoor, half outdoor playground. Great for younger kids under 2. They have free coffee and tea for parents and a nice artisan coffee shop right across the street(just a skip and a hop) - which is why we go here on days we want something low key. The membership is something we are trying out, but so far so good! And it doesn’t get super crowded on weekdays

Unfortunately, we weren't able to play outside and enjoy the sandbox. It was a very hot and sunny day. Really liked the inside play area. It's small, but functional.Special thanks for the coffee provided. If you want an easy day with your little one, just bring them over to the play lab sit down on the sofa with your coffee and watch them play. I wish the steps were carpeted or smth for the adventures crawlers like my boy.

Gotta find your own parking on the street. No food inside. Free coffee, tea, and water. Nice place to throw an intimate toddlers birthday party. Indoor and outdoor seating for adults. Coffee shop next door. Most importantly, a beer and wine bar is also right next door. If you want to get completely wasted out of your mind at the beer and wine bar then play with your kid at PlayLab then that’s your freedom of choice living in America.

We really enjoyed Playlab Eagle Rock. They took into account the size of the space and also sectioned each part to make it roomier. Our kids loved the large train table and played there mostly. Because of the size, more than 3 families in there at a time could be tricky if the kids want to play in the same area. We experienced a couple rowdy kids take the trains away from our kids, but their mom was very aware and reprimanded them quickly. One of these kids was also a screamer... it really echoed inside and their mom - again, very aware - quickly took them outside to play, so it wasn't a big issue.Beyond the trains was a section that contained a small play structure, pretend play food items and other fun toys and another section with a Pickler set, a ton of Nugget sets and an incredible collection of wooden cars/trucks. We spent a good hour or so inside and then spent the rest of the time in their outdoor area, where they had Green Toys (I love this brand - sustainable trucks and cars) and a huge sandbox for them to play in. There were also a pretend kitchen area. There were plenty of places to sit and watch them, which was very helpful. Overall, it's a cute little spot and they very thoughtful about their design! While the bathroom and path to get there could do with some updates, everything else was modern and clean. We will certainly be back again!

We were looking for a fun, no-muss, no-fuss place to host our 3 year old's birthday party and were so happy to have Playlab! They went above and beyond to check in with us, buy supplies to match our theme, party plan, and support the event, I'll think twice about ever hosting at our home again. The space is lovely and inviting, with tons of play areas to draw out every kid. The party blew by with very happy kids leaving... And, my husband and I were thrilled we didn't have a house to clean after the fact! Whole heartedly recommend!

Jason and his team at PlayLab were absolutely wonderful in having us back in December 2022, for my son's birthday. I originally called looking for Carrie, but Jason mentioned she has been very busy. I needed someone to help "plan" the party. Jason took multiple calls from me and we discussed for quite a while, through phone and email. He sent me some referrals for desserts, balloons, etc. This was very helpful, and according to Jason, they have quite an extensive list of vendors if needed. At the day of the party, Jason and his team member was present to assist. They both made sure EVERYTHING was to our expectations, and even assisted with moving items as vendors started coming in. To us this was very important and appreciated, because my family and I were juggling our own kids and guests at the same time. The bit of help went a long way for us.Now about the venue, I would say it was perfect. It's a bit dark inside, so I would probably suggest brighter lighting, but there were plenty plenty plenty of things for the children to play with. The outside, although small, was more than enough for the children and guests to enjoy. The sandbox does do its work :). Lastly, the parking is little to none, but it seemed like all our guests were able to park on the side streets without trouble.Cost wise, this fit within our budget. However, it's the care of Jason and his team that really made our event great.

I liked how access was through ramps or single steps. Little birthday guests seemed to enjoy the deck sandpit the most. My immediate family no longer has small children, but we enjoyed the space this weekend (Keurig kept us on location instead of leaving for the coffee shop across the street). The party rental was for about three or four hours. There were different kinds of seating so you weren't sore or standing around.

I had my three year old’s birthday party here, and they really went above and beyond helping with everything, and making sure the decorations looked great and everything went smoothly. It’s a wonderful space with wonderful people.

Such a fun, little cute indoor playground. Love taking my toddler here on rainy days. It's not too big or loud that it's overwhelming. I'd say, it's best suited for littlest up to age 3. Very clean also & staff is lovely.
