Wonderful campground with some of the original buildings and wonderful placards that describe their significance in the first intentional African American community in the Central Valley. If you need a place to stay anywhere near Bakersfield go here.

Such a great part of history. I wish I planned better so I could actually go inside some of the homes. I usually just stop as we're passing through from SoCal to home in NorCal.
