Ehp is my family, when I have encountered tough times they have been there for me. A good resource for clothing , food, furniture, for all who are looking for help in those areas.

This organization had been a pillar in the community for over 4 decades. The staff makes you feel like family. They are very friendly and welcoming. No matter what your issue is they make your circumstances feel minimal. It's also a wonderful place to volunteer. They are so caring that we like to help out when we can not just show up when we are in need.

A great program to fight the hunger in the area. They help those with needs and provide them with food. They provide to walk-ins and drive-ins. They also have volunteering opportunities if you are interested in supporting their cause.

This place has let me down for the last time. I'll never go back to these people again. My son and and I had come to go through the clothing warehouse because we were looking at getting jobs and the Mexican lady that was working that day was very mean to us she refused to give us any time to look for clothes and all of the clothes were jam packed I'm only 5 ft tall so I could barely reach any of the clothes and then they're so packed on the one young thing I can't even move them to see the size and then I didn't get I didn't even get anything that fit me you know cuz all she did was rush me she didn't help me at all she didn't give me anything I think they're prejudice in there and they're very greedy or are there just hoarding you can't w**** at God's God's blessings you won't get anywhere I don't suggest going there not if you're white

This place it really good for the community. They are really friendly just stop by and you can volunteer, donate unwanted stuff and they will help distribute it to people in need. This place is an island of compassion and humanity surrounded by a sea of the greed and desire of Silicon Valley.

I'm writing this from the perspective of a volunteer and former board member. I've been involved with EHP over the past several years and never have I seen such a caring organization, that is so well run and provides such help and impact to the community. While it's based in East Palo Alto, EHP provides food assistance as well as clothing, furniture, holiday gifts, backbacks for children as well as support and advocacy, to people throughout San Mateo County. One of the things I also love about this organization is that they allow children to help volunteer. I have a 12 year old son who has come with me a few times to do holiday volunteering and I find it such a positive experience to show children young, how you can help others in the community. Highly recommend EHP if you are looking for food assistance or items in a time of need as well as to those looking for a non-profit to volulnteer with or donate too.

Can't say enough about this organization. This organization put out a BIG bang in our community, and some. I've furnished my home, and was able to help other families furnish their entire homes. If you're in the donating mood, know that your donations go far and beyond at. EHPEcumenical Hunger Program. Look them up in East Palo Alto, CA.
