Nice guy and I am happy with the results (ablation for a-fib, and consultation after an episode of V-tach). Unlike a prior cardiologist, who had seemingly automatically recommended a pacemaker by default, he made a longer look, ordered an MRI, and took a less aggressive and intrusive approach.

Dr. Mead is a doctor of the utmost knowledge in his specialty in medicine. He is personable, attentive, sincere and professional. He gives true meaning to a "Heart physician" he mends the heart and calms your heart as well!" There is a trust that very few patients can find in their doctors care and Dr. Mead represents the reason why I would let alone my partners heart health and operations are only in his hands !!! He takes the time to explain anything regarding procedures even having to repeat it in easily understood terms. Dr. Mead treats you with respect and kindness on health matters no matter what your age is with cardio issues - he believes in quality care no matter if your are 9 or 99 years old!!

I am a cardiologist and have referred patients to Dr. Mead for over thirty years for management of various arrhythmias. My patients all loved him and his work was excellent. When I needed an electrophysiologist for myself, he is the one I went to. Can't give a stronger recommendation than that.

Dr. Mead must be an exceptional electrophysiologist, I am not qualified to judge that, but as a person, caregiver and physician he is gentle, kind and funny. He has cared for my heart ailments for 20 years and I am truly blessed to be in his care.

Awesome! I would go see this doctor just to talk to him. Extremely professional, calm, not overreacting and not trying to treat things that don't need to be treated. Exactly the doctor that I was looking for, I couldn't be happier about my visit.

Dr. Mead was the first to give us an appointment when our local hospital in Eureka discharged my husband with unstable angina, refusing an inpatient cardiology consult. He diagnosed a life threatening condition the day of our appointment and had my husband in surgery the next day. His care kept another doctor's terrible mistake from being buried.
