The Target in Mountain View & Redwood City both carry dry cat food. This is the only location that doesn't, which I find weird. Is there a reason for that?

Very unprofessional rude experience I encountered yesterday make me feel dehumanized and very racial discrimination and intentional harassment with management team

This lady was so rude. I asked her if they carry canned air and she said I don't know it's over there. I searched where she said over there was and I searched for 20 min for another associate to tell me that they do not carry air. Cecilia had a scanner in her hand where she could of easily looked up the item we asked for assistance. It's the worst when an employee is too lazy to assist you and end up making you waist your time. Cecilia gave us major attitude today and the worst customer service.

I purchase grocery items regularly from this Target due to lower prices than other grocery stores. Like the fast self serve checkout at the store as well as Starbucks located in the store. Not a large Target but always has the items I'm looking for and there's easy access from the freeway.

A very clean and organized place, you will find a great assortment and good prices on some of their items. Recommended. Quick service at the checkout.

I enjoy this target location only because it is the closest target to where I am. When they first got here, it was great! I did not have to drive to Redwood City or all the way to Mountain View to go to target. However, for whatever reason, the area has rapidly declined. The parking lot is shared with customers for Nordstrom rack and Home Depot. While I believe, this is a great idea, more needs to be done with regards to keeping it clean. Masks lay everywhere alongside bottles and trash from the neighboring facilities. Leaving and going in, there are houseless community members who are sitting in the parking lot and at the entrance of the store. I feel for these people but they often leave remnants of their short stay where they sat or slept. If you're reading this and you see an older gentleman standing at the entrance, be mindful of giving him money. He wears a dark blue jacket, black pants and shoes, dark headgear, and a mask. I have given to him many times but I am also weary of the fact that I caught him hiding a large wad of cash while he asked for spare change. Aside from that, there are young individuals there, constantly selling candies even to the point of following people but never to their cars or into the store itself. Listen, before you judge me, know that I commend the hustle! But it is different when you're selling candy in pajamas and crocks as opposed to being in uniform and with the permission of the store to be there. It is also interesting that these individuals only setup in front of this store and not the neighboring stores like Home Depot, Nordstrom Rack, or even the fast food restaurants just across the way. Upon entering the store, there are never enough shopping carts available for use. The ones that are available are often broken and dirty. I commend Target for having employees to connect to the community. I had a difficult time finding someone to answer my question that didn't tell me that they did not speak English. And the employees I did find to help me never really know where anything is. The customer service is decent if you find it. For every time I go here, I do not go often. The convenience does not outweigh any of these issues and more. To be honest, I would much rather drive to Redwood City or Mountain View. You make your decision but I hope there are improvements made inside and outside of this store.

This Target is smaller than most Target stores I've been in. I walk in the store and it almost feels like a maze in the most organized way. Every product is placed in such an aesthetically pleasing way. All the shelves are full of merchandise. No spot empty. I came in to complete a return but there was no one in customer service to help. I found someone preparing the self-checkout area and asked for help and I waited about 7-10 minutes to get help. Once the employee was able to help me it was completed quickly. I did find everything I needed on this visit. There was staff in almost every section. I needed help in the electronics section and asked someone close by and I got help almost immediately. Overall, clean and organized store. Customer service at returns can improve to not wait that long for future visits. Parking lot area shared with other stores but plenty of spaces. Drive up wait times vary at any visit I've made.

This review is for the team. I had a number of last-minute needs over a few days and went in and out of this store. Everyone I interacted with was really helpful. I even left a bag from another store at self-checkout, and when I came back two days later, they had saved it in lost and found. Thank you!

This Target has most items you would expect at their other locations. Items are moderately stocked. Selection not as great as other locations due to the small facility. I recommend raising your situational awareness while at this location. We saw random, suspicious looking people waiting at the entrance. Stay vigilant. Starbucks located at entrance for your drink needs.

A somewhat smaller Target - other users have correctly noted less selection and tigher aisles - than other new stores elsewhere in the Peninsula/South Bay, like the one a quick drive down 101/237 at North First Street in San Jose. This Target is also in the middle of a ginormous array of strip malls wedged tightly into a narrow space east of 101 (it's across from Ikea) which means lots and lots of traffic coming in and out. Still, for a quick Target run where you only need household essentials like cleaning supplies, stationery, basic kitchenware, or basic groceries, then this place serves its purpose. I was able to breeze in and out quickly via the self-checkout lines. Note that many of the pictures on this Yelp listing are generic, smarmy, contrived stock photos uploaded by Target Corporate and do not reflect this specific location. This is a violation of Yelp rules.

Came in the other day to buy a speaker. You could say I drove the rep crazy with all my questions. However, he was very patient and continued to help me until I chose a speaker. I am a very picky person and this took ages, but to my surprise he did not give up. Overall a great experience at this Target.

I had a horrible experience here last Saturday. My bf and I came to this target last Saturday 6/11 for socks and shorts. We picked up some items and set them down at the end cap of the market area before going to the restroom. After the restroom we picked up our items and looked around the mens section. I then discovered a small old navy-like dressing stall in the middle of the mens section that I could try on shorts. I turned the corner and there was an African-American gentleman standing on the other side. I pause for a second thinking he was going into the dressing room before me. He walks away then I go in. The dressing room is trashed with clothes all over the 2 hanging shelf racks with clothes and empty boxes on the floor. I was wearing a small purse that had a few items in it already and wasn't able to fit my phone. I put my phone that was in my pants pocket on top of 1 of the 2 single shelf racks. I quickly try on the shorts, left them in the dressing room, and left the dressing room within a span of 8 minutes tops. As soon as I leave the dressing room the same gentleman is standing right there! You can clearly tell he's the loss prevention guy. Why was he standing right on the outside of the dressing room?! Is he trying to see if I'm opening something trying to steal? Im wearing a super small purse. Why am I being watched? A little awkward so after I walk with my boyfriend through the baby clothes aisle to the video games. Within a span of a minute I realize I left my phone and ran back to the dressing room. My phone is gone quickly! I look all over the dressing room and my phone is gone. We try looking for the loss prevention guy since he was the only guy hanging around and he's nowhere to be found. We go back the dressing room and the door is closed but the handle is not locked so it shows it's "vacant". Since it showed vacant I tried opening the door but he was holding it closed so I couldn't open it! He screamed- "SOMEONES IN HERE!" Then after a few seconds he screams "IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR YOUR PHONE ITS UP FRONT!". I thought for a split second- why couldn't he just handed my phone back to me? Why did he have to be suspicious and do all that within a span of a few minutes? What's the reason of all this? I understand lost prevention. I worked retail at toys r us for years. BUT THERES BETTER WAYS TO HANDLE THIS! I go to a cashier and told them "I'm looking for my phone because your lost prevention guy brought it up front. They look at me shocked. Leave to the back room. SPEND A GOOD COUPLE MINUTES then a manager walks out. She asked me to unlock my phone to make sure it was mine and sign off. No explanation, no apology, nothing. I was really upset and confused but didn't say anything because in the end - I got my phone back. But overall- the whole experience was so strange and could have been handled better. Do better Palo Alto Target!

First and last time here. A customer asked a random person where the bathroom is by accident thinking they worked there with a Target employee feet away and the employee did NOTHING, did not acknowledge the customer or say 'oh I can help you?' luckily the person was kind enough to direct them but the employee did not even turn to look. The bathroom was interesting, i understand doing this at home but in a public restroom this seems unsanitary to leave the toilet paper on top of the toilet rather than IN the dispenser.

I've been meaning to write this review since the store opened. It seems to me that this store does not have support from the district.Team members aren't trained properly from team leaders to cashiers.Today was the topper when at check out a leader Reprimanded the cashier in front of everyone, that is to be done in private! Then let's talk about the empty shelves. And no carts
