Updating my review to 3 stars after receiving great follow-up service. Manager Nick went above and beyond to address the poor experience I previously had--he issued a full refund for both of my dogs and offered a complimentary wash and cut to make things right. Way better alternative than Kenny's approved 10% discount.
His lead stylist did an excellent job working with the botched cuts left by the previous employees. While my dogs' hair had to be trimmed a bit shorter to fix the issues, they now look much better.
I really appreciate Nick's professionalism and willingness to resolve the situation. This kind of service shows they do care about their customers--just wish it had been done right the first time.
AVOID JADEA AND LEA LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I used to be a VIPP member at PetSmart but downgraded to “Bestie” after I stopped using their grooming services due to a bad experience. I recently decided to give them a second chance — huge mistake.
I brought in both of my Golden Retrievers, Buddy and Bella, for grooming. I requested a wash, DeFurminator treatment, and scissor-only haircuts.
Buddy was assigned to a stylist named Lea, who completely disregarded the request and gave him a clipper cut. His coat was uneven, he was still shedding due to lack of brushing, his ears were left soaking wet, and she didn’t even trim his paw pads. When I raised concerns, she acted like she did an amazing job and refused to fix anything because she was “busy.”
Bella was even worse. I believe her groomer’s name was Jadea (or something similar). He barely touched her — no paw pad trimming, no detail work, and left her rear area completely unkempt. On top of that, his attitude was condescending and dismissive. From the get go of coming in I knew he was going to be bad news just by his attitude and the dog he was attending when we had came in.
For all of this, I was charged $124for buddy and offered just 10% off for a completely unacceptable experience. The wash, cut, and defurminator were all poorly done — on both dogs.
The only reason I still shop at PetSmart is the rewards program, but after this, even that loyalty is wearing thin. Unprofessional, rushed, and careless. Do better, PetSmart.

Overall experience after first 2 visits had been good! First visit got a discount offered because of the timing of the day. The second visit Military discount ONLY offered on TUES NOT WED THE DAY I HAD MY APPOINTMENT FOR! That policy needs to change!!! Had to change technician because of it! Heather who did my first 2 grooms was excellent!

Tired of being bullied by pretentious little white girls every time I come to this location. I actually used to work at this PetSmart and quit within 2 months because the bullying was so bad even amongst the employees. This is a PetSmart, Not a middle school. Grow up!! The little cashier girl with the pale blonde hair needs to drop her weird attitude. ?? If I ever end up coming in again, which I will be avoiding at all costs since this is now the 2nd time I’ve been treated so poorly by this girl, I will be saying something to her and to her manager Nick.

I just left this store and had the worst experience of my life. I had a return and I have a Trece account which she could look up and she refused to look at my account and refuse to write down on a piece of paper why she would not except my return. When I asked for my bag back that my items are in she told me it would cost me $.10 even though they took my bag from me. She told me she didn’t have time to write down why she did not want to do the return and went to the back and started talking to the young ladies in the grooming department where she does not work. If you need help in that department do not go to Jennifer at all she is rude and very disrespectful.

Little blonde curly long haired kid followed me around the store. I have never felt discrimination against me like that before. Very unfortunate and uncomfortable will never be returning to this store.

I would leave no star if I could but that was not an option. So My dog had an appointment with "Odalis" at this location for grooming. Mind you I live a distance and I used to come here for my dog grooming in the past, so why not. I arrived 5 minutes before my dog's appointment (6:30PM) and the groomer Sighed while looking at the time. She then asked me if I had an appointment . I told her it was at 6:30PM. She then asked me to wait outside until the appointment time. I then waited, went back in at 6:30PM and the groomer did not even acknowledge me after waiting for a couple of minutes after my appointment time. She just seemed bothered . I left, why would I leave my dog with a person that's bothered. I knew she was not going to clean my dog well, as she didn't even want to attend to me or my dog. It's sad that I wasted my gas and time coming to this type of service. I was told that my dog was an express service as she's a certain breed that cant stay for long. This is the worst experience I've ever been through. Usually Petsmart isn't like this when it comes to customer service. I always try to understand from the others point of view. But it just was not an experience I was expecting from a Petsmart associates . I thought they would do anything for pets . Very disappointed!

We have used Heather A. to groom our dogs for years at the Murrieta California location. When she transferred to Eastvale, we decided that she was worth the drive. She is such a great groomer. She is very calm and relaxed around the dogs, and if you show her a picture of what you want, you will get it. If you need a dog groomed, ask for Heather A.

Yuri and the entire grooms department is so unprofessional. Yuri has such an attitude that if you make a suggestion on the safety of your dog she will refuse to groom her she decided not to groom my dog because I was concerned over the safety of my 3lb dog and she was saying that there is a note on my toy Yorker that she did not like her paws touched and that they were going to charge me extra if additional groomer is needed note that nothing like that has ever been disclosed to me. Yuri and the team made it so that I feel so uncomfortable that they might hurt my little dog by hurting her since they did not like the fact that I asked that they be careful with her. Not even the manager could tell them anything. A dog is a dog and i still don't understand how they decide to not groom a small Yorker that weighs 3 lbs over there attitude towards a persons skin color because that is what they made me feel. They also want to charge me for putting bows on her head (something that was standard) and that someone on their team conveniently sell them at an additional cost. (Yes the groomers are allowed to hustle the customer for more money) Yet if I upgraded my package there are bows available. WTF they are letting the groomers sell and make money on the side because the $60 is not enough for them. They also called me letting me know another customers dog is ready for pick up. They just called me and said a dog name Bailey was ready for pick up WTH what kind of shit show are they running. Easily making for someone else's dog to be taken. CAUTION: please make sure note every time they cut your dog or hurt it. My dog has been cut so many times I lost count This is what happens: they call us on what happened apologizing telling us how very sorry they are and they tell us they take her next door and get her antibiotic ointment for the cuts they cause by the carelessness of the groomer and they tell me that there is no charge Well I found out today there is no record of the incidents that have happened and that is why they don't charge me for the incidents because they don't have to document all the accidents they had with the dogs if there is no charge. Please make sure they make a record and it's noted in the system because they will hide the fact that they caused an injury to your dog. Our pets are the ones paying for it and all the injuries they cause on them remember they can't tell us when someone hurts them.
