Everyone always has an attitude regardless of the time of day. My package failed to be delivered on Saturday and I needed to my day Monday. I call the post office as soon as they opened (9am) to request that I can get my package directly from the post office. The much older lady said she will pull my package so I can get it from the office directly. Just wait until 9:30am. I wait and go to the office for her to respond with an attitude and tell me “yeah didn’t even try to find it”. She shooed me away and that was that. The absolute rudeness! The post office on Edwards AFB along with other services are the worst staffed buildings. They do below the bare minimum and do not care and have the audacity to have attitude with you

Losing people's mail and/or leaving in wrong addresses lately it's even on the Edwards page of more complaints.

USPS location onbase. Usually no issues here and the staff are good, well trained and friendly. But be prepared to wait. Today I waited 40 minutes just to mail an envelope due to people with passport applications taking a very long time with pictures and messed up paperwork. They really need a 2nd person to man the counter when there are passport are being done. Can take awhile in line as usually there is only one staff member at the counter if you go near holidays or lunchtime. Overall good location.

Respectful and kind people. Anyone who says they don't know you have to have base access to go there is obviously a moron. DUH! It's a military installation. Of course you can't use the po box there when you don't have access to the base. That's true for all post offices on base. Some of these reviews are ridiculous. Like one person was mad they can't reuse shipping labels and boxes. OF course you can't. Omg. Really? This office has been amazing. They are always there to help
Even with information on how to go about to get my real ID when they don't even process them or having anything to do with them. I've never had a lost package with them. It's so nice and peaceful here too. People come in they are quick and throughour to get people out with a smile and a laugh. If your getting any other kind of attitude it's probably your attitude as an impatient customer. Be kind. It goes a long way.

USPS location onbase. Never any issue here and the staff are good, well trained and friendly. Can take awhile in line as usually there is only one staff member at the counter if you go near holidays or lunchtime or that one staff member is doing passport paperwork too. There is a second staff member that comes up to help. Overall good location.

Worst post office I've used. Always trys to upcharge me.I had a pre-paid label and the worker told me that I can't re-use old priority boxes to ship out packages. Since when does the color of the box matter if I pay for the label?

The Edwards AFB Post Office website is out of date. If you have no affiliation with the military or the installation you CANNOT gain access to the base. If you are told by any of the local Post Offices you can, I assure you that you cannot gain access to the installation. Do NOT bother!

Some Postal workers are helpful others are not. If you get a UPS package delivered in the morning and it’s not in the box. They won’t even check to see if it’s arrived they just say it will be put in the box the next day.

No wonder it's walk in passport service, and every other post office is a million year wait. If you don't live on base it ain't for you. Don't even bother going...

I Tried Going To This Post Office since on the website it says it's walk in friendly, Drove all the Way from Palmdale Just To be Disappointed. It's wonderful for those who work on the base unfortunately for us we're not aloud anywhere near 10 miles from it I just wish they would update the USPS website because I wasn't the only one that showed up to the base trying to get in that day and the other person came from littlerock.
