I was in need of some newborn cloths and clueless of how sizing works for babies. Boy was I stressed uncle. Then I was approached by a worker there, by the name Alana, & she took care of all my worries. Her recommendations to sizing and clothing options where great. & she drop some knowledge on newborn & toddler sizing, So I'm set next time around. Wanna thank her for her great customer service & going above and beyond. Hard to find service this excellent nowadays. Thank you again, definitely coming back !

My 4yo is unable to wear a mask due to pulomary hypertension. We were denied access to carters because the "corporate policy states anyone above 2 must wear a mask", however the store manager Wajma Noori could not produce this policy upon entrance to the store.CDC guidelines are as follows:Who should not wear a maskMasks should not be worn byChildren younger than 2 years oldAnyone who has trouble breathingAnyone who is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistanceWearing masks may be difficult for some people with sensory, cognitive, or behavioral issues. If they are unable to wear a mask properly or cannot tolerate a mask, they should not wear one, and adaptations and alternatives should be consideredCA STATE GUIDELINESSome people are exempt from wearing face coverings at all times:Those with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents wearing a face covering.Currently in violation of California Mask mandate AND CDC guidelines.

Customer service is excellent! I had placed an online order that I was "supposed to" pick up at the El Cajon store location. But life with littles got the better of me and I completely forgot to pick up my order, and I missed the pickup window. So I called the store to see if they still had my items in the store. The clerk (Tim?) looked up the SKUs of my items one by one and verified that all my items were still in the store. (This took a good chunk of time on his part, but he was so patient!) When he found all my items, he offered to pull them from the floor and set them aside, for me to pick up in 2 days. Is that helpful, personable customer service or what?! And of course, Carter's has the same product quality and value for money that so many parents have relied on for decades. :)

I have been to this location a few times and everything is always okay. Unfortunately when it comes to clothing for boys at all stores, they get the short end of the stick. Apparently only girls can have abundant closets full of cute clothes and this store follows suite. The boys section is so small compared to the girls sections. Moms want to dress their boys up too! We want variety too! Due to this, I almost always shop online because there is more variety online than in store. During covid they are doing curbside pick up which is a great addition and I hope is here to stay. I just order online and wait for the items to come in and pick them up. It takes about a week if the store doesn't have your items in stock... which they hardly ever do. The times I have been the store has been clean and well organized. The staff has always been friendly too.

Im very disappointed in this store. I went shopping today with my little ones and the associate did not let my 2 year old enter without a mask. Per CDC guidelines any child 2 and under are not recommended nor required to wear a mask. I will take my business elsewhere. This was the only store in the mall that I had an issue with.

Carters has super cute clothes and this store is clean and new. I’ve been buying this brand for a long time but I won’t be going back to this location. The staff is absolutely miserable for some reason. The woman who rang me up got upset that my three year old was playing with toys by the checkout. Asked her not to touch any of the toys unless I was going to buy them. At first I obliged but then I thought about it for a second and was like what store do you go into and NOT touch anything you may or may not buy??? Especially a CHILDRENS store...imagine if I went to target or the grocery store or any other clothing store today and a associate came up and said please don’t touch anything unless you are going to buy it.... Definitely won’t be coming here again.

Well well well, as a Dad my wife does all the kids shopping. I decided to go with her this time and one of my favorite thing is matching prices between store and online.

If I can give zero stars I would!! This store and its acciocate are so racist!! Came in to buy my kids some school clothes 3 workers asked me back to back did I need help then proceeded to watch me and made me feel very uncomfortable I asked what was the problem and they replied They just was doin their jobs!! Well to say the least I didn't buy anything and went and spent my money elsewhere!! Carter's/Oshkosh Please Train your employees on how to treat ur customers!!
