I have always felt that the only BMW you should own is one under warranty. Parts & repair at a dealership are astronomical. Driven SD is close to home, they have outstanding reviews here & on Yelp, so we decided to give them a try.
The reviews didn't lie: They are really that good. We have returned several times for repairs with great results. Their prices are very reasonable, with their estimates prior to doing the work, spot on. If there is something that they can't do, they will refer you to the right shop. That was our experience with a front end suspension issue. The BMW repair network is a valuable commodity!
We trust Driven SD to tell us what we need, with no BS, get a fair price, and the work is done expertly. We are extremely happy that we found Driven.

Best prices, quality work, fast turnaround and GREAT customer service! They even spotted a missing bolt unrelated to work they were doing on my BMW that I’m 100% positive the dealership forgot to put back. This is now my go to spot for any of my BMWs when I have issues! Thank you Driven SD!

Update: I have taken my car there a few times since leaving my first post. They have become my regular mechanic and they continue to be awesome. They go above and beyond to help and do amazing work. In addition to a check engine light issue it needed to clear smog check alerts and they helped clear them and gave me advice on how to clear them myself. I cannot recommend them enough! Original Post: Absolutely amazing experience. My 1997 BMW Z3 broke down the day after Christmas. I got a referral from my usual mechanic who couldn’t take my car. Driven SD was closed (which is totally reasonable), the voicemail made it clear they were closed, but had details about when they would be open again. I got a text with proposed appointment and estimate to look at the car very early the day they said they would be back. They have amazing systems in place that make the whole process completely transparent and easy. Almost all of our communication was via text, which included links to invoices and explanations of proposed repairs (the fix was actually pretty easy, but they also provided estimates to two other things I knew my car needed, which was incredibly helpful.) they were able to have my car done a day before they had expected, even though I told them there was no rush. Incredible experience, they will become my regular, go to mechanic.

Had a coolant leak on my M62TU rear engine coolant cover. This requires the transmission to be removed. These guys knocked it within a day. Great communication. Awesome service. Highly recommend.

This has been the best experience that I have had with a bmw repair shop period!
They quickly found the problem, fixed the problem and had it finished the same day! And if that wasn't good enough, they actually lowered the inspection cost because it was not too difficult a fix! Now honestly...who does that?! So I will definitely be bringing my X5 50i back here for any other issues it might have.
If I could give 7 stars, I definitely would!

This shop is awesome. I previously took my 1 series here for service prior to covid. I moved out of the area for a few years and now that i'm back I was happy to see the shop still open. I just grabbed a 2 series and hit Tony up immediately to do some coding and swap some body parts for me. Great communication, very transparent, and fast with service. Would highly recommend DrivenSD to anyone.

The team at Drive SD was amazing! After I read through the reviews I knew they were the shop to take care of my mini cooper needs.
What I loved most was.They had every opportunity to take advantage of me and they did not. They were honest, up front, did a great job and kept the cost super low.
I would.
Highly recommend them to any BMW or Mini Cooper owners.

I’ve come to Driven SD twice now for service after two below average visits to my local BMW dealership service department. On both occasions, Tony, the owner, was able to diagnose the issues I was having and provide a much more thorough, honest, and less expensive recommendation on what was needed to repair my vehicle. I have been extremely satisfied with his professionalism, genuine concern, and care, which is hard to find in this industry. I will only use Driven SD for BMW service moving forward, and also highly recommend his shop to every BMW owner I know.

This place is fantastic! Honest, knowledgeable and reliable workers. Mechanic removed the center a/c vent to check flap and removed and reattached vent flap rod at no additional cost. Tony is always flexible with scheduling.
