East County Transitional Living Center (ECTLC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing transitional housing and restoring lives in the El Cajon community. Through the commitment of volunteers, staff, and partners, ECTLC strives to inspire people to make the right decisions through Christ and improve the lives of those in need. Reviewers have shared their positive experiences with ECTLC, describing it as a place that "saved" their lives, brought them to "the Light," and helped them develop a stronger relationship with God. Many have expressed gratitude for the kind, respectful, and non-judgmental staff who have supported them in their journeys. The center's Sunday services and teachings from the pastors have also been praised as uplifting and transformative. While not all experiences have been entirely positive, the overall sentiment is that ECTLC is a place of hope and real change for those willing to dedicate themselves to the process. The foundation of the center is described as "godly," and it is emphasized that the true transformation comes from clinging to Christ, rather than just external changes.
IV been living here for 9 months. It's going pretty good. I volunteer my time for the ministries to drive the donation van. I get a place to live and 3 meals a day.

I would agree with all the negative reviews, however I really appreciated my stay. I got 72 hour emergency shelter as a pregnant homeless person. Lots of Bible study and classes. Great food, we had fresh fruit and vegetables every day along with large portions. I would highly recommend to single men and families.
