I get all my car work done at Sun Coast Auto Repair, and I can honestly say Johnny is one of the most honest and helpful mechanics I’ve ever dealt with. He always takes the time to explain what’s going on with my car in a way that makes sense, and he never tries to push unnecessary repairs. The work is always done right, on time, and at a fair price. Because of the great service I’ve had here, I’ve recommended Sun Coast Auto Repair to my family and friends, and they’ve all had positive experiences too. It’s hard to find a trustworthy shop these days, but Johnny and the team here have earned my loyalty.

They sell vehicles that have been in major accidents with structural damage, while lying that they have never been in an accident! Seems like a chop shop that the DMV should investigate. BUYER BEWARE!! RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

I don’t write reviews on google but when I saw the other pointless reviews I said I have to give them 5 stars,,,bought a car from them about a month ago and it’s super clean interior and exterior,,,they showed me the carfax of it and I already let my mechanic to check it before purchasing it! Which there’re nothing wrong with it!!! Honest seller! 5 starts for sure!!hope you guys write reasonable reviews

AVOID THIS BUSINESS. Found an ad on Craigslist, salesman was reluctant to give address or name of dealership from the beginning, most likely because they have a terrible review on google. Car was listed as a clean title, low mileage, with a small dent on the rear trunk. Upon seeing the car, it was clear the vehicle had been rear ended and a sizeable amount of bodywork had been completed. The back of the car was completely out of alignment to the point that the trunk did not close properly. Salesman tried to play it off as a problem with the latch. Overall a unreliable and dishonest business, would not waste my time doing business with them.
Upon doing some more digging online, found hidden reviews on yelp that described similar bad experiences with SunCoast Auto. They must be burying bad reviews somehow.

Bought a car here. The guy said new battery and all new fluids. He lied about everything. He just cleaned the battery very well to make it look new. And trans fluid hadn't ever been changed. Oil wasn't changed. And he was super high on something when we first met.

Took my car in for replacement of axle shaft. Upon leaving their shop after the work was done, i notice a noise. It appears that such mechanic forgot to tighten all bolt studs from axle shaft. After such assessment, I started looking into the remaining engine compartment and notice that my engine cover pins were all missing. Person in charge of the mechanic place, stated they would order them (Audi). I'm not sure they ever order them, since I never heard or got the call from them. Got tire of waiting... A few days later upon driving my car, I notice the plastic skip-plate that covers the entire engine at the bottom was dragging on the street.They failed to secure or tighten all screws that go along with it. Plastic cover was damage, so I had to replace myself. I would NEVER recommend this auto shop to anyone, not even my worse enemy... Stay away from this place!

This is the worst place I took in my van and they rushed the job, My car would not start when I came to pick it up. Then 2 days later my check engine light was on I also gave them a full bottle of coolant to find out they did not even put it in my new radiator I am running straight water that is really great when I requested for them to fix the problem they refused.
