The history of this place is AMAZING! SISSY is a true hero in the revolution of doggy nutrition to save our dogs and to extend their healthy lives.
This time we went for BOTH the great holistic food as well as used their Doggie Self Wash. Quiet, clean, not crowded. Safe, fully enclosed space for anxious pets. (With no visual or interaction with other pets!)
Bring an extra collar to get wet, extra towels, backup (or additional/specialized) shampoo & conditioner.
They do have dryer available in every room, but the noise always scares most of my pack so we never use it)
Arrive - MINIMALLY- a full hour before they close so you won't be rushed. (Call ahead for correct bath hours: info on internet is not accurate.)
Parking is easy. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Sufficient landscaping for tinkling/pottying pre-and-post bathing.
(Inside tips: 1) ramp is available by request if needed. 2) The warm water is on the LEFT with the TINY red band as an indicator.)
This place is GREAT value!

Actually went there to wash my senior dog and discovered the holistic dog food. My dogs really like it. Prices are fair.

Bathe my dog there. Very clean and very reasonable for a do it yourself bath. Just bring your towels and shampoo (although they have shampoo there). Wash, dry and leave. They will clean up after you leave.

Great food for my pet family.Service is nothing to brag about. I had to wait over 10 minutes for the lady to get off a personal phone call so I could pay and leave.A quick stop turned into a time sap.Still got what I needed so my dog is happy.

I used the dog wash today. They have multiple stations. Good water pressure and temperature. No towels because of covid.It was worth the $10.

Always trust Solid Gold products and I can save a few dollars by going into the store. Easy to find off Cuyamaca St. El Cajon.

We took our dog in for the self service doggy wash. Paid $10, they led us to a good room with a bath tub, ramp, table, chair and even hair dryer. The lady left us alone the whole time and there was no sales pitch like some of the other reviewers said- but maybe because we're in the midst of a pandemic. Good service overall. Will be coming back.
