Le Caramel is a small San Diego business that was founded in 2009 by husband and wife team, Vincent and Christen Kugener. The business started with just one product - traditional French sea salt caramel cream - which the couple brought from France after a year of studying and training under a renowned caramel-maker. Over the past ten years, Le Caramel has expanded to offer 18 different products in seven delicious flavors, and has grown to a team of six staff members. In 2018, the business also purchased a local gift company, The Basket Corner. Customers praise Le Caramel's amazing sweets, including macarons, crepes, and waffles, describing them as "the way caramel should taste" and a great place for families to visit.
Amazing sweets, great place for the family. I got macroons and crepes, made me happy, 10/10 for both. Really cute and well made sweets. Definitely recommend coming here, i certainly will again.

Welll I read all about the waffles, will have to check that out!!! My first visit and the staff are amazing. But Carmel was, as they say at the store-- they way caramel should taste!!! Delish and cant wait to share the fancy goodies with my family.
