My experience with Mercedes Benz El Cajon was deeply disappointing and concerning. I was drawn to a GLE 53 Blue they had listed online, which they claimed had been previously owned by their general manager and had a minor accident noted on the Carfax. Lisa, another manager, assured me that the accident was merely a small scratch in a parking lot, as confirmed by the general manager himself, the previous owner of the car. However, just an hour before I was scheduled to pick up the car, a friend offered to run an Experian auto check, revealing alarming findings. The car had suffered significant damage to both the front and back, so severe that the radiator needed replacement. It became evident that the only reason this car was able to be certified and not disclose the extent of the accident was because it had been owned by their general manager, who seemingly orchestrated the concealment to avoid losing a substantial amount on the vehicle. This blatant disregard for transparency and customer trust raises serious red flags about the dealership's practices and integrity. Potential buyers beware.

I've been looking for a car for about 2 weeks , I got a call from an inquiry I did online from Mr. Jamie at Mercedes Benz elcajon ! He was a great guy and sales rep and I enjoyed the process with him ! I arrived at noon and left with a car by 4pm he gave me the best option and advice and was very informative and made me feel great about my purchase. Would highly recommend! Thank you Jamie !!!!

I really like the service department at this location. We're lucky to have four Mercedes dealerships to compete for our business (Kearny Mesa, Carlsbad, Escondido) and so far I'm very happy with the service at El Cajon. I'll say that Kearny Mesa is by far the worst and I've had decent experiences at both Carlsbad and Escondido. I go to MBEC because I love the drive along the 52 to get there instead of the slog of the 15 and the 5. My service advisor is Cesar Flores and he is professional, straightforward, and friendly even though he seems so busy running around from one customer to another, chatting with the mechanics on behalf of the customers demands, hacking away at his computer updating notes, and making calls to update customers. You can tell he cares about the customer and our needs based on his work ethic. The foreman, John M., is also fabulous. He will really spend extra time to make sure everything in your vehicle is in perfect working condition. He is also honest and will take the extra time to tell you what is really needed and what's not needed. Out of the 4 dealers around us, I highly recommend this crew.

2nd car form them and about the 14th service visit in 2 years!! I am So excited to go sit this week for a service appointment on my 2024 GLE 350. Good news tho even the people that work at Mercedes have to bring their new cars in after buying to get them fixed. They like to tell you that so you don't feel alone that everyone has to get their new cars need fixed. Perfect for them they can drop it off when they go into work I have to take time off from work and make sure you have $250.00 for a loaner car. 1465/month seems worth it right. By the way don't waste your time opening a ticket with Mercedes USA they will do absolutely nothing to help you. I opened a ticked with my 2022 GLC 300 and they couldn't be bothered to call back they did absolutely nothing to help. Don't waste your time or energy. I could go on for hours about how disappointed I am that my dream goal car has been such a nightmare.

Update.... It's almost April, a year coming since I've purchased the S580 CPO no spare key had arrived. No communication, no email. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER MERCEDES ever again. Crazy to spend $100k on a car not only to drive 2hrs to pick it up and it's a total lemon car. Sad times !!!!

One star cause I CANT give zero stars. Beware of this dealership. Dont even enter this place! As soon as you enter this dealership sellers will jump to you like sharks. I went there to get only mats and a without having any intention to buy a car (cause I was moving to Puerto Rico) ended with a car. After hours of harassment the seller convinced me to buy a 2020 AMG convertible. IM not sure if he convinced me or I surrender cause was super sick on that day. I explained like a thousand times to him that couldn't buy a car cause was moving and couldn't take it with me. He insisted that would make it "possible", "made some calls" (3x) and came back to me confirming I could take the car and MB would "help me" transporting the car. I realized the car he showed me on papers was red interiors but the drive test car was not the same. He explained that the one he offered me initially was sold, but he found a "better" one cause it was AMG, so it was a better car. He tored up the signed papers and brough more that I signed trusting him. After I made it home realized the car he sold me WAS NOT a 2020 car but a 2018. I returned to the dealership and was told because I didn't select a "return" option on the contract I was not able to return the car, even though the seller used fraudulent practices to trick me. Later on a MB financial told me it was a LIE from the seller. That the car couldn't be transported to PR for some unknown reason she never share. So the end of the story was that MB/Hacienda in PR bans financed MB to enter to PR by imposing a high tax of 12k to 16k (depending on the model). It was all a lie from the seller to make his day sales. None, MB financial, MB USA or MB el Cajon took any responsibility on this fraud. All I could do was to beg for MB El Cajon to take the car back (with just a few miles driven, less than a month/just the time it took me to convince them to take the car back) but they didnt even returned to me 6k downpayment. BEWARE, this fraud cost me 6k MB El Cajon stole from me.

The service was Amazing. I recently bought a sprinter vans. They were nothing but helpful. Allowed me to pay a very fair price for an amazing van. I am beoynd happy with my purchase. I wanted to thank Adrian Blair personally for he had help me from start to finish with allowing me to get the best deal. Both amazing service and great work.

I've been servicing my vehicle since the old location on Main Street 12 years ago, and both the customer service (Moush) and the service advisor Brandon and Rene his manager been excellent! Upon arrival, Brandon was waiting at the meet and greet area ready with the 2023 EQE 350 loaner, then he took me to his five star waiting lounge with all the pastries hot chocolate machine...etc outstanding place. Extremely helpful and the most knowledgeable I've ever had. The most important thing was that when he represented the stuff the vehicle recommended. He never pressure me to buy anything. Definitely I'm referring all my friends and family to Brandon, recommended this Dealership strongly.

Mercedes Benz has recently opened a new dealership in El Cajon, CA. The service department is now functional. An engine problem with my 2015 Mercedes forced me to seek help. Josh Childers, possibly the manager of the service department, ushered us through the process and arranged for a loan vehicle. Getting to the process...The diagnostic analysis has reached a very high level of "search and find" mechanical wellness. Consequently the problem printout lists a number of imperfections in the vehicle operation. Josh was helpful in dissecting through the list, identifying the critical problems requiring immediate attention and those that could be put on the burner for future scrutiny. An honest appraisal is necessary to navigate the technical nightmare of modern automobile mechanical development.

We've been taking our 2021 GLE here for service because Mercedes San Diego is just so bad. The people at El Cajon dealership are truly wonderful, the customer care area is fully stocked with snacks, beverages and coffee and the service technicians are super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Our tech (Josh Childers) is amazing and keeps communication flowing. I wish we had purchased our vehicle at this dealership, but the way things are going, we are very likely to buy our next car here! Thank you Mercedes of El Cajon for putting your customers first. It shows in everything you do!

I cannot say enough about Mercedes Benz of El Cajon. I have been a 20 plus year, multiple vehicle Mercedes owner so I have dealt with different dealerships in and out of San Diego County. I went in on Labor Day to possibly purchase a new vehicle or most likely purchase an existing lease. Jorge was our salesman and he was so personable and patient with indecisive clients. Patiently and willingly giving us all options to make sure we were informed and happy with with whatever our decision may be. We really felt he was sensitive to the issues we were using to decide and wanted what would be best for us. He was also very knowledgeable and as a female, it was nice to feel like he had our best interest. The entire experience was so pleasant, quick and smooth. Lisa was the sales manager that helped us!! Nicest sales manager you will ever meet and she made the whole experience fun for us while also being as professional and knowledgeable as can be. She definitely knows what shes doing and she is very straightforward, no hassles or games. Loved her ! Ying in finance was also great. Explained everything we were signing thoroughly yet quickly so we weren't in there forever. On top of that the store GM Shukri even spent time talking with us. When does that ever happen?!! He assured us they would get us into the car we wanted and HE DID!! Really, really great guy which may explain why this is such an A+ business. I can't say enough about how wonderful everyone there is. This was THE smoothest, easiest and even the most fun experience I have ever had when buying a car - start to finish. If you are looking for Mercedes - GO THERE! Thank you SO much Mercedes Benz of El Cajon!! You guys are the BEST and we are so happy with our new car!!! I will be highly recommending you guys to all my family and friends !!

Walking into a car dealership makes you feel like the soul is being sucked out of you, and this one is no different. I tried to buy out my lease and was given a quote of $25,525 including tax and fees. I go to the bank, get approved for the amount, and show up to the dealership with the money. I sit down with the rep and they tell me that they tacked on $2200 in taxes and fees. So I have to spend the next 3 days at the bank trying to cancel my loan, and start a whole new one for the amount they gave me. I come back 3 days later with the new amount, sit down with finance with the exact amount they asked for, and they pull out a paper with an amount $3 more than what I was quoted the second time-- which I have to charge to my card because I obviously came in with the exact amount they told me to bring. I own a rental car business and buy cars frequently. I came into the dealership excited to look at other cars to add into my fleet, and left never wanting to step foot into this dealership again. I hope that the $2200 in undisclosed fees was worth losing tens of thousands of dollars from me in the future. I'll be more careful where I shop from now on.
