Staff work very slow, they'll be no one in they don't want to check you in without a appointment even if it's slow. When speaking with staff they seem stressed and overwhelmed

Instantly turned away. I have both TriCare/VA and blue shield . I handed my blue shield first bc that’s the only physical insurance card I had. He then kept saying we can’t take any patients with this insurance I told him just run my VA instead then he kept saying they can’t see me bc I have blue shield. Mind you if I never told them I had medicare they never even would have known and would have just ran my VA…. I’ve been to several other clinics never had this issue . I think they just look for a reason to turn you away hence all the other bad reviews. Do not waste your time here all I needed was a inhailer (which my insurance would cover)

Save yourself the time and effort. This MC is horrible. My experience as follows: I took my girlfriend there to be seen after calling and being told that they accept a walk-ins. Upon arriving, the iPads to check in were all “unavailable”. The physician and physicians (I’m assuming) assistant saw us and said nothing AT ALL. Both of them took the only two patients waiting in the waiting room and saw them. When the (obvious) physician was done with her appointment and was finished cleaning her area, I asked about the possibility of being seen and who to speak to. She informed me that they only take appointments and that an appointment can be made from the computer next to her office door. I told her I was informed that they take walk-ins and she said “no, we don’t” quite coldly. My girlfriend tried making an immediate appointment at this time and was told by the system that no more appointments were available today. (NO ONE WAS IN THE WAITING ROOM)I mentioned there were no more appointments to the physician and that I need to get my girlfriend to an urgent care to which the physician quipped “well we’re not an urgent care” and closed her door.Seriously, DONT GO HERE. I don’t know how many physicians this place employes, but the short woman in her early to mid 50’s with the short bob haircut has no bedside manner at all. It’s no wonder she isn’t working in a hospital, but it’s truly a wonder she’s working at all. Also, if the main manager Pat reads this, I’ll be in touch because this type of unprofessional behavior needs to be addressed when a customer/patient is obviously in discomfort in the waiting area.

I had a great experience being seen by nurse practioner Nguyen. She was thorough, caring, and gave me the prescription I needed. It wasn't too long of a wait before I was seen either. Schedule the appointment online and do the online pre-check ahead of time and you'll be fine.

I scheduled a TB test online and was notified 10 minutes before - when I was already there, that it couldn't be done. Absolutely horrible customer service, there was nobody even there to receive people who were coming in. There's supposed to be a health concierge, there was no one. Never scheduling anything here again!!

There is something TRULY SINISTER about a CVS "Minute Clinic" that does NOT take cash payments, AND when you are forced to use a debit card to make the "non-cash" payment, NO RECEIPT IS GENERATED! I will be filing an official complaint against this location not only with the CVS corporate office, but with AETNA (who uses CVS's "Minute Clinic" for their "Urgent Care") as well!NOT A PLACE I RECOMMEND FOR "URGENT CARE" or co-payment needs!

Showed up at 7:45 to be the first in line and they wouldn't see me even though the entire clinic was empty. They said no walk ins only with an appointment. They could have easily seen me without an appointment since no one was there, but that is just the type of care and support you can expect to get from these people.

Would give zero stars if possible. Both nurses were extremely cold and borderline hostile. One kept looking for reasons they couldn't help me with a simple sports physical form. By far worse medical experience of all time, go somewhere else...

Not a walk in clinic. Difficult to use and unreliable booking experience. Staffed, no patients, and yet without availability.

From the website: "Walk-In Clinic in CVS Pharmacy at 2760 Fletcher Parkway, El Cajon, California 92020". Unfortunately, when you walk in you are told you can't be seen without an appointment and there aren't any appointments.

Called 5 minutes before my appointment they told me to wait for a call/text with instructions. Waited 30 minutes and got nothing. I called again and had to get linked to another CVS phone line representative from there was finally able to get a call with instructions. Once I got there there was one other person already waiting. They took me in before her because my appointment was at an earlier time. How did this person that was already waiting get instructions/directions before I did if my appointment was sooner? This clinic needs to understand that wasting someone’s time is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Needless to say I am very unhappy and would never return to this clinic again. I would not recommend anyone come to this clinic if you value your own time.

They only take appointments for today, tomorrow, or the next day. It is important to BE ON TIME for your appointment, they will cancel it if you are more than 5 minutes late (they don't really tell you this at all in the confirmation or anything). The doctor was very polite as she turned me away. When I made and attended a 2nd appointment three days later, I was politely informed that they don't take my insurance--there was no other way to check, I guess. This is the only "urgent care" within 100 miles that my insurance covers. Then, the nurse told me that I should visit a different clinic (that my insurance doesn't cover) because as long as that clinic takes my insurance, I would be fine. That's incorrect and not at all how that works--I would be on the hook for the bill. So I need to just wait 2 weeks to see my PCP. The truth is, insurance and clinic BOTH need to accept each other, I just hope nobody listened to the nurse's bad advice!

worst place. i had an appointment for a vaccine and i get there and show the lady my insurance and she said she can’t do it because it’s fraud. HUH? fraud?? called my insurance and she had no words, also called my agency and they also have never heard of this excuse. seemed like the lady wanted to get rid of me because she didn’t want to work i don’t know. she kept saying fraud fraud and told me to leave. not even give me an explanation or help me find a place. cvs you should put a disclaimer on your website what insurance you do and don’t accept. instead of wasting peoples time with fake excuses. i went through TONS of trouble today because of the lack of communication and information on your website. terrible service.
