Murphy's is a treasure for people into electronic crafting, step motors, wiring projects. They have so much great stuff. Impossible to leave empty-handed. They always have something that gets my interest. My Interest: robotics and automation.

This store is a favorite of mine. They have every piece of hardware you need. Electronics from all ages to tools to books to jumper cables. They have everything. Most items are sold at a very fair price. There is never customers in my way which is good. I spend at least a hour in this place every time I go. It is packed full of things to look through, so much stuff it almost overflows off the shelves onto the isles. Not many stores around like this nowadays

Murphy's is and outstanding place to go if you're looking for an Electronics salvage place to pick up whatever you might need. My girlfriend and I went there and we were looking for one specific item which we thought it would be rather unlikely to find and what do you think happened? We found it! She also picked up an oscilloscope and I was looking for a signal generator and also found a few items I needed for a sweet little tweak on my most powerful McIntosh audio amp. I was looking through everything and stayed until they were closing. I almost bought a medical encyclopedia to help with random post-apocalyptic surgeries but decided not to after all. They also had a wonderful carbon Arc spotlight that I would have loved to pick up but didn't. The guys there are super friendly and helpful and what you will find is from ceiling to floor and a very large Warehouse, the largest electronics Warehouse I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.

Art lovers, junk lovers, DIY-ers, etc.... Murphy's has a lot of neat trinkets from industrial, electronic, Military, to random surplus items. You can have fun and get lost in here for awhile browsing what they get in or fully supply! Lots of long time customers and new. If they don't have what you're looking for or can't answer your question they kindly help you in the direction of someone or somewhere else that has what you need.

This is my new favorite place to shop for anything. San Diego and new used and refurbished electronics mostly. The guy who runs the Thor is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
Knows the value of an inventory but he doesn't overcharge his customers. If you're looking for something in particular logic board for a cord, charger, keyboard, mouse, etc you can get it for pennies on the dollar. If you're looking for something a little more specific you can find electronic components we're just about any project.
I literally spent 3 hours in there today and I only left because he had a lock the doors.

This place is fantastic. Eye candy to a ham/electronic hobbyist like myself. They have hardware, bolts, nuts, screws and other related hardware. Electronics, resistors relays, tubes, switches,.plugs motors,fans and just stuff. Some of it new some used. Every time I've been there I find something new(to me). Radios, meters, test equipment... I could go on. The photos don't do it justice. Every shelf is just packed. Every time come home with something. Not every time I find what I'm looking for but I'd see something for another project I need. There inventory always changes so plan on spending a little time looking through all the shelves.
