My son is almost 4 and has been attending this wonderful preschool since he was 6 months old. The directors and staff personalize the curriculum for each student and really focus on caring about the whole family. My son loves attending and I'm so grateful for the amazing care he receives.

This place is great until it isn't. They don't let you know when your child gets hurt and have no explanation for it. Still not totally sure what happened but my child broke off a tooth and cracked the one next too it , no one saw or knew anything about it supposedly. Someone there was telling lies and no way to tell who it was.

My son and daughter have been attending here since they were babies but now their in elementary school. The price is reasonable. This is a place for kids to grow and develop their own personalities with their friends and with great staff to teach them.My son attended kindergarten school here. I didn't want to go no where else because the environment was great and the staff was really great with the kid. This is not just a daycare where the kids sit there, the kids are being taught everything from a babies age up to 6yrs old .I was so sad to see my kids leave because this is where all the magic happened learning and growing in this little community with the children.this is a great place for kids to be at.Dr.Roseanne is awesome with the kids she pays attention to the children. My daughter had problems with learning at the daycare center I didn't know that and Dr.Roseanne was able to pull me aside and let me what steps I needed to take for my daughter.I recommend this place to everyone perfect start for the little ones. ? ❤

Very disappointed in this place. They are not solution oriented. They would rather remove a child after saying they treat the children as they would their own until the child becomes too much for them and they are over crowded. They call themselves professionals but all they care about is numbers and what is easiest for them. I cant believe I trusted them with my 2 yr old.

Our 10 month old has been going there for a little over 3 months. They are so great with her. I love the pictures we get, little updates, and she seems to have fun there. They are so kind, caring and accommodating to her and us. I highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this place! My son started here in August 2020 at 13 months old and it has been such a wonderful experience for both of us. Every single day my baby is so excited to run inside and see his teachers and is always happy when I pick him up. I can see how much he has learned over the past few months- hes learning more advanced levels of communication and his self-confidence is very apparent... He sings and is very curious about things, and I can't help be attribute this to being in a place that supports and encourages his development. They do enriching activities with the children every single day and most importantly they allow him to explore his surrounding and play which is essential. Ms. Connie and Dr .Roseanne are professional, friendly and both actively involved in this program- I see them interacting woth the children and feel that they have worked very hard to create a safe and nurturing environment for the kids. Everyone here is very warm and affectionate with the children and are easy to speak with if any concerns arise, especially with the current COVID-19 situation. They send hone art almost daily, along with reports of the meals my son ate, his diapering activities as well as"ouch reports" if/when my son has any mishaps- which are normal for children learning to walk. His immediate teachers are in contact with me regularly and send me pictures of my son throughout the day and also keep me posted on important notifications via text. This program is a little on the pricey side, however, they accept most forms of child care subsidies/payments and make reporting hours a simple process. I can not say enough great thing about this place. I feel very fortunate to have found them!

This place is great for infant childcare, they are much more reasonably priced than the corporate child cares and they do a much better job. We moved before experiencing their toddler care but the children of other classes always seemed to be organized or having fun.

My son is 4 years old and has been receiving child care at Oaktree Academy for roughly 1 year. Armani has made many friends at Oaktree Academy, and I originally felt really safe with the care provided by the school. Oaktree Academy participates in subsidized childcare, which is a service provided by the County of San Diego to assist low income families with payment for childcare and food services. In order for the childcare providers to receive payment for services, a monthly tracking form is required to be filed out by the parents and submitted by the childcare providers. In the month of November, I was late submitting the document, and agreed to submit the document the following day. Upon picking my son up on December 1, 2017, I filled out the form as I agreed. Unfortunately I mistakenly used a sheet that was intended for another student. I was unaware of this until December 4, 2017. After receiving the new from my sons teacher, we were able to find the sheet. The teacher asked that I sign the document in the signature area, and agreed to copy the information from the sheet that I filled out in error. Today when I came in to pick my son up, there was a message asking that I come in to the office. I asked the teacher in the classroom at that time if the message was urgent, or if she knew what the message was referencing, and was told by the teacher that she did not know the nature of the request. I was unable to go to the go to the office at the time, because of a family emergency that required my immediate attention. Shortly after leaving the school, I received a phone call from Roseann Rinear, the owner of the child care center. Without as much as a hello, she then became verbally abusive and disrespectful. Dr. Rinear was so irate during the phone call that she disconnected the call in my face. I called her back immediately because I was sure that the call had dropped. Dr. Rinear stated that it was not a mistake and told me in a very rude manner that “I could just take my son somewhere else”! Needless to say I was in shock. Not only was I threatened by Dr. Rinear, but I was also disturbed that she had access to children! Although Dr. Rinear did not make a direct racial statement, the tone in which she spoke about myself and my child had racist connotations. To add insult to injury, I was not provided with a formal notification of termination of services. Dr. Rinear displayed discrimination because I receive county services, and spoke to me in a manner that was very disrespectful. I plan to escalate this matter as I will lose time from work resolving this issue. Funds paid to organizations to assist with Social Services should be required to conduct themselves in an ethical manner. No parent receiving county services should be treated in a disrespectful manner based upon receiving assistance. I am very disturbed that this child care is in partnership with social services. Dr. Rinear should be held responsible for unethical behavior, discrimination, and intimidation.
