If you're not in the cool kids club you're not welcome here. Went and shot trap here ( which requires reservations)when I arrived at the trap range there were 5 guys shooting, after their round a few of them asked if they could go another round. The range monkey (I refuse to call him a range officer) had zero issues with it, and even allowed them to double up in a lane. No big deal, I realized right away that it wasn't welcome, and noticed the range monkey was hovering over my shoulder the entire round making it uncomfortable.when I asked him if I could go another round he said they were booked solid., even though no new shooters had arrived. His friends ( they were obviously friends based on their conversation it was very clear)Who he had let shoot a second round were now stepping up for their third round which they didn't have reservations for.. ive been shooting trap for 4 decades and have never been to a range as unwelcoming that blatantly shows favoritism to their friends as this place. in short I won't be back, I won't recommend this place to my friends, and I wouldn't recommend it to you either.

Went in with a party of 8 and it was a blast. Workers knew what they were taking about and had a good rental selection.

Absolutely great experience. Haven't shot in 30 or 40 years. Range was clean, service was outstanding, and just glad they are available for me and my friends. A big shout out to Susan who was so pleasant when we were paying. :)Great employee, good sense of humor, always smiling. With this in mind, we will be back asap. Probably 2 weeks.... Thanks to All the great employees.

This one of my favorite ranges in SD. A little out of the way. But for good reason. I enjoy shooting here. The range is a bit hot so dressing comfortable should benefit you. Good procedures and excellent staff. It’s why I continue to return. ?

Love this place. I should leave 1 star though so the joint doesn’t get super crowded!Love that there’s not some macho gun dork breathing down your neck the whole time like TGR off Balboa. It’s like this people, p2k is the only place I know of in San Diego that you can go, and safely educate yourself at your pace and not have to deal some burly weirdo standing 6 inches from you telling you how he did it when he was in the coast guard. The best part is, IF you want help with your shooting experience, just ask someone that works there and they are more than willing to do so. This is how a range experience should be.Yes certain ammo needs to be inspected because people are dumb and take green tip 5.56 to an indoor range, people please look into the ammunition you fire, that stuff is barrier penetrating, counterintuitive to the whole indoor shooting into a wall thing right? Just show them your ammo and don’t complain, they aren’t trying to violate your little space, they are ensuring the safety of some poor dude having s smoke outside. Will definitely be back, if I could say something that could be better, I’d love to see a night where you can bring night vision inside and kill the lights at the range. Maybe a private course or something for those of us who have made awful financial decisions.

I was not impressed having shot in several other ranges in San Diego. It's not easy to get to and not how I presided it from the ads. I found the range as old and hangared in need of a face lift. The equipment was 1950 technology and very messy. In front of the range was a pile of brass and paper targets, I guess they don't own a shovel. The only good thing was the YouTube SD Gun Guy was there and had a nice cordial conversation. I don't think I will ever return

PERFECT for new and young shooters. Not for experienced. It’s kinda like the Planet Fitness of gun ranges. I’m trying to be fair cuz honestly, the people are super nice and they are not the kind of place that treats you like you’re getting something for free when you do there. If you’re just trying to go plink around with a your kids and rent/try out some guns, there really isn’t a better place. BUT if you grew up in a state like Arizona Idaho Nevada Utah or Montana, this place will feel like pulling teeth.I’m trying to be fair with my review cuz the place is a great place to introduce people to their 2nd most important fundamental human right, but if you are the kind guy who likes to pop flares and load a Geo metro trunk with tannerite, this place ain’t for you.Different strokes for different folks tho ??♂️

One of the best shooting ranges in San Diego! Indoor and outdoor ranges in one location. I also love their protocol for using the range.

I noticed that this place has a 3.9 star rating at the moment I thought that that was odd, it's most likely from people who have not gone to other gun ranges in sandiego I've gone to all of them and I made a choice years ago to drive way out of my way to come here instead of the other ranges that are closer to me. If you went here and had a bad experience, I would Recommend that you go to a couple other ranges in sandiego and get an idea of how other ranges are in the area before leaving a bad review.

Alright , had a company function at P2K I have never fired a gun in my life so to say I was nervous was a understatement, but the staff was very accommodating and professional starting with the test and ending with Brandon giving me tips and keeping the flow of the others going with our slowing up our chi. Thanks to P2K a have a very healthy and new attitude towards firearms and the competent individuals who use them. Thanks!

Highly recommend checking out P2K's range. Didn't have any issues while at this range & using one of P2K's Glock 17, 3rd Gen. & the 9mm (Winchester) ammo that they supplied. The perfect Father's Day gift "A adrenaline rush!" Lol. Go & check it out for yourself. Promise, you won't be disappointed! Happy Hunting!

Came yesterday with my brother for my first ever shooting. Absolutely wonderful and welcoming people. Great experience, learned a lot and definitely felt welcomed by the more experienced individuals. Brandon did an excellent job in informing and talking with me so I can understand the basics of home defense and the pros and cons of each selection. Will definitely return to buy that shotgun Brandon ! Great place to start, great place to have fun.

Excellent first time going to a shooting range... I'm learning about guns, so this is new for me This place is nestled in the hills of East County... Ample parking Beautiful location Seating outside with benches Inside was greeted by friendly staff and they showed ne and my son the ropes... I was nervous because I had to take a firearms safety test before I could even begin... But I got a 100% yay me... pretty good I'd say but it took me like almost an hour to take... EMBARRASSING yes I know but I really like to learn what I am about to do... Got set up with ear protection and bought some ammo for my two handguns 40cal Glock and 9ml Anyways the staff was helpful with guiding me with my son. We are excited to go back....

The indoor range needs better ventilation. Too much lead dust flying around everywhere for those who care about their brain.
