Hard to find good Salvadorean food in the area. The Papusas are delish! If you are ordering more than 2 or 3, make sure to tell them it's seperate orders so that you get enough toppings for them!

Simply delicious! All 3 pupusas were yummy esp the spinach & cheese. I ordered my food and got it pretty fast! Typical mom & pop taco spot but with a El Salvadoran flare. Def will be back n try the jalapeño and cheese pupusa next

I encountered a very nice greeting from behind the counter at the Salvadorean Food Pupusas Express.I placed our small order to go at the register. The food came out about 10 mins later-fresh and very hot. They must have literally made, rolled and cooked them while we waited. They advertise their papusas are always made daily and never frozen. I think I can check that box. They should call this place the Papusa Flavortown Express! The sitting area is decorated with a colorful mural of El Salvador with each of the 14 departments outlined. Each table is decorated with a different picture of a place of interest in the country too. These two geographical additions in the dining room adds a nice touch to the cuisine experience.I ordered a queso (cheese only) papusa and a calabaza con queso (zucchini and cheese) papusa. The food was still hot after a 10 min drive home.Inside the to go container were 2 different tomato based salsas. One was spicy hot and the other more like a plain tomato sauce. There was also a vinegar and oregano based cabbage slaw that complimented the dough and cheese very well. Both papusa and the salad were very tasty! My only regret now is that I didn't video the 'cheese pull' after cutting them in half.Take note on the menu there are meat, vegetarian and vegan options. They have Salvadoran and Mexican plates, appetizers, sides, specials and kids meals. We will definitely be back to try the many options on the menu.

I probably eat here 4 times a month. The pupusas are always served hot and I keep coming back for this reason. My food has to be super hot so that I can enjoy it. I order the pepperoni pupusa and it only had 2 pepperoni's. Then some other time I got the combo 2 pupusas with rice and bens and a soda can. And I ask for a water bottle instead and they told me I couldn't do that. I insisted because I don't drink soda and she charge me more for it. Not cool

This was my first time eating pupusas. The first one was delicious, a perfect ratio of cheese, beans, pork, and masa. The second pupusa tasted like styrofoam, because it had fused with the styrofoam container. I would recommend skipping this place until they change their packaging. It's unfortunate because the food is otherwise delicious.

Authentic, hand made, Salvadorean food. The fresh pupusas are made by hand every day and you can taste the quality and care put into each one. The owner is absolutely wonderful, I hope you get the chance to meet her!
