My previous post was for Subaru if El Cajon. They simply don't care after they sale you a car or a lease. They tell you anything to sale you a car. You do t get free detail anytime as they claimed, and service does t exist. You buy a new car and they want you to walk which I did after leaving my car for service. horrible and the worse business I've ever had to deal with!!

Service department is HORRIBLE! My technician tried to charge me for warranted services that were covered despite the information I provided. It took a phone call from a different subaru to get them to honor my warranty. There no communication about the status of my vehicle as I waited and had to ask to get my car back after hours of waiting.It is nearly impossible to get a service technician on the phone, you either have to go thru the animated system or leave a message. I was told by the service tech that my tires needed to be replaced and could be dangerous to drive on yet I never received any paperwork about my tire health. I called and left 3 messages and was never called back. On my 4th call I finally got a hold of a service tech and asked for the tire information to be emailed to me. I never got an email. I now have left 2 more messages with the dealership and have not gotten a call back. That is a total of 5 messages over a 4 week span with no response. How can a place that is supposed to ensure the safety of your automobile tell you that it can be acutely dangerous to drive your car YET won't provide information about the dangers. I have had to set up a new appointment with Kearny Mesa Subaru just to find out if my car is safe to drive or not. DON'T BRING YOUR CAR TO GET SERVICED HERE!

I am convinced that all shady folk that scam others to get ahead in life turn into car salesman.Let me preface by saying that I got a good deal on my vehicle and Al thought I still haven't been paid out for my trade in that I decided to cut my losses.I worked with Nick and the GM Terrence. They promised everything under the sun to make the sale and has been radio silent since. Been wanting a follow up on my trade in, services promised, and merchandise that was supposed to be delivered.So far I haven't received a call back or even a response to my emails. I can't even find out how to activate my trial of starlink.Would recommend not doing business with Subaru of El Cajon as they are dishonest and slimy.Immediately after documents were signed they asked for a 5 star review. Good thing I held off.

I bought a brand new Subaru at Dalton Subaru through the Costco auto program and it was a great experience. The front tire started leaking air and AAA said it was the valve stem. Living in far East county, I took it to El Cajon Subaru as it's closer and more convenient than the National City dealership. EC said the warranty didn't cover tires, even though I had less than 200 miles on it. so almost $300 for a new tire. That in itself would have been ok, but after getting the tire, after I got home, it started going flat again. I took it back again and asked how this new tire could possibly have the same issue as the previous new tire. I asked if they actually replaced the original tire with a brand new tire and they said they did. They said it was a coincidence that two brand new tires had the same valve stem issue. Then a third time I got in the car and the tire pressure was low again so one more trip to EC Subaru. This time the service manager Joel got involved. He reassured me it was a brand new tire but he said he was going to reimburse me the cost. He replaced the valve stem on it and so far so good. I understand that stuff happens but I was growing frustrated that it kept happening but I appreciated Joel's gesture. He was very nice, as was Mark.

I was disappointed in the way this dealership handles its business. My wife and I went there this evening to check out a car shown online. I went there to test drive it, and everything was going great. Of course, I looked around the vehicle and saw on the buyer's guide that it has a warranty. I thought everything was working out; I am expecting a child, I have dogs, and my mother-in-law is living with us due to a death in the family. Unfortunately, when we went to sit down and get a final price, everything turned south. The car was listed under $20,000, and they decided to upcharge me a little over $6,700. Their excuse was that they still needed to make money because I had agreed to pay cash and not finance. Are you serious? I don't know if they looked at interest rates, but it doesn't make sense to finance, and I don't want to be stuck with high-interest payments. As previously stated, the buyer's guide showed a warranty, but instead, they are making me pay for one, a maintenance package, and some other fees. I just wanted the car, but they refused to sell it unless I negotiated the warranty into the price. This was distasteful, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I am astonished by the lack of actual help this dealership has provided us. Not just lack of help, but complete disregard to finish our transaction with them. We bought a Subaru from this dealership in May of this year and we have waited for the title documents to be sent to our local Department of Motor Vehicle for months, as we live out of state. We have called and left messages. The manager, Travis, has taken our name and number with a promise of a call back and information. Nothing. We have spoken to Minerva the title clerk at the dealership. She has told us she will call us back and hasn't. We need help. If anyone can direct me to the owner of the dealership or something, I would appreciate it greatly.

I recently visited a Subaru dealership and had a mixed experience. While the service advisors were knowledgeable, honest, and straightforward, I had a poor experience with the sales team. I had put down a deposit for a Solterra, but no one contacted me for almost 18 months despite my attempts to reach out. Eventually, I decided to buy a different car, but only one salesperson was helpful and honest. Unfortunately, the rest of the sales team was not knowledgeable about electric cars or the special incentives and offers exclusive to the Solterra.During the finance process, I had to wait for five hours and witnessed the new finance team struggling with loan processing and paperwork while the GM yelled and barked orders, creating an unprofessional and stressful environment. When I pointed out errors in the paperwork, they had to be corrected.Ultimately, the sales team was poorly informed, poorly trained, and lacked knowledge about their own products due to terrible leadership. I would recommend trying Carlsbad Subaru instead.Key points Sales Team deplorable:Poorly informedPoorly trainedNot knowledgeable about their own productsTerrible leadershipAt the end of the day, if you have terrible leadership, you really can't expect any of the other areas of performance to be good.Avoid this place, I would also advise you to avoid the one in Kerny Messa.

Don't believe their adds. They don't show the real price. They advertised Subary Forester Sport for $29.5K, but later, they will say that the final price is $37K. They force you to buy a warranty and extra BS, which no one needs on a new car since it is already under the manufacturer warranty.

Today I went to get my money back for a car part that I had bought but I ended up not needing it I told them I wanted my money back 165 I paid but the manager and the sales manger both said I only paid for the part 37 dollars because I had got a credit of 129 of the other part that same day keep in mind that I paid 129 for. I still paid 165 for it and all I wanted was my money back but they only gave me back 37 dollars and i told me look kid subaru is not going to try to steal from you only 129 dollars.after trying to explain to the manager in the parts department after 20 min I gave up. No one understood me, only the one lady in the front, but both managers did not listen to me

Greeted promptly. Work done quickly. Pleasant environment. That part is great! The thing Subaru needs to get rid of is that terrible Computer-based answering system. Dumb as a tire-iron. Can't reach people to get answers to the real questions. I'd rather have one of the dogs from the commercials answering the phone.

Had a low tire indicator on my new 2023 Crosstrek. Stopped into the service center, without an appointment and they took my Subaru in and was able to fix the issue very quickly and sent me on my way. Great customer service. Thanks!

Excellent! I arrived early (5 minutes before the service dept. opened because I needed to avoid road construction near my home). I apologized but was told no problem and a service representative immediately came out to check me in. It took less than an hour and I was on my way.

Nicolae and Sabrina were fantastic. They were very accommodating and answered all of the questions we had. We traveled two hours for this dealership and it was so worth it. Would definitely recommend!
