Terrible management!!! This place will butcher your dog and then make pathetic excuses for it without even an apology!

I went in for a walk-in nail job and I will pass next time. Be aware, trying to be fast I guess, the attendant used a Dremel type of device instead of basic dog clips to do the job. The nails looked jagged and uneven. My dog has never bitten anyone till then, not a good experience for him. Might be best to just make an appointment.

Best grooming! our Foxy Roxy has been a paw client for 4 years now and her sister Trixie Monroe 1 year now, we come from San Ysidro to have both our paw babies continue their grooming at Suds N Paws?? ..❤️

The ladies were nice but I did not like the way my dog was handled for a nail trim. They had a table open but one of the ladies held him tummy up while the other one clipped his nails. He cried more than usual and I assumed it was because I was standing right there but when I got him back I notice his paw was shaking and one of his toes was bleeding. I also feel the nail clipper was not sharp enough because the cut was not clean across, some nails have that top layer of the nail so I think that hurt his quick. I don’t think I will be bringing him again. But please keep in mind my dog is small, very wiggly and does not like mail trims. I am not upset because I should have said something about him doing better when he’s put on the table. But if you have a dog that already does not like nail trims, this might reinforce that feeling for them. I also notice that there was not a lot of air flow in the salon and there was a strong smell of cleaning chemicals which is probably uncomfortable for dogs having to be there for a full groom.

Our dog was adopted as a stray and is extremely timid, often showing fear aggression, but she absolutely loves this place.

Julie is wonderful. There is a great vibe in the shop, and my highly anxious dog was comfortable there. My dog was overgrown and matted because I had been ill. She made him look brand new again! Thank you, Julie!!

I took my poodle there for the first time few weeks ago. A few things were not right. First they did not ask me for vaccination record! (I don't know whether they don't usually ask or they forgot to ask me on that day) . It was really concerning. Second I asked for nail trimming and the lady (I think her name was Imani) told me I need to pay $6 extra dollars for a total of $66. I said no problem. When I went back to pick up my dog, the other lady which I am not sure what her name was (A tall caucasian lady who groomed my dog that day) told me I have to pay $72 for grooming and $6 extra for the nail trimming, a total of $78. I was surprised and told her about what Imani told me before. She said no that was without nail trimming. I did not want to discuss and paid the money! Third I did not ask for a poodle cut, (I only asked a bit shorter around eyes and muzzle and clean paws which is still a bit different from poodle cut) (I really don't like that kind of cuts) but my dog received a poodle cut (with head and ears cut like a poodle) that day! Fourth we stepped outside and I saw my dogs nails are not really trimmed, we went inside and asked for that and she took him back and did it after I asked for! Fifth, my dog's skin was red and damaged especially near to his private part, it was so heartbreaking to see those spots on my dog's body. I am not sure I will go back there again or not! I usually don't write reviews, but for the love that I have for dogs I thought I have to share this with all, that if you go there, please be more careful that you don't experience the same things. I have to say I really don't want to hurt their business but we need to take care of our babies (dogs) because they cannot speak up!

What your groomer did to her had nothing to do with ongoing medical issues! She has sensitive skin and instead of being treated gently, the hair around her eyes was pulled out to the point of her bleeding and scabbing over!
