Very cute place and friendly staff! On-site parking. There's a little cafe with inexpensive prices. I tried the mango black tea but it wasn't enjoyable; I didn't taste any mango and had to add a lot of sugar. The gift shop is adorable with a variety of items, but prices are high. There's a lot of seating for people to come hangout or have a picnic. There's a small swing set, a children's sandbox area, a large grassy area, and a chicken coop with live chickens. Very nice place to have a photography session but there's a $35 fee, which is a bit steep considering there are only a few picture worthy spots imo. Great place to check out if you're in the area!

I absolutely adore this place. It's so dreamy with all the beautiful flowers, plants, and cute decor. The gift shop smells amazing & has the cutest stuff. It has lots of great spots to take pictures. My daughter really enjoyed playing with their badminton set and petting one of their cats. My husband enjoyed a refreshing mango tea from their cafe. There's plenty of parking as well. I can't wait to come back!

This place is so relaxing! They have a coffee shop and a little gift shop filled with great stuff. The people here are wonderful. In October they have a little pumpkin patch. This is a great place to bring your kids. They have lots of room for them to play and have a picnic. I will be coming back.

LOVED this pumpkin patch activity! Brought the in-laws and my sensory-needs kiddo last Sunday before Halloween expecting a mad house at Bates. This was the most tranquil experience that we ALL enjoyed! They have an easy to access parking situation right off the highway. Some hay bales for kids to climb and jump on, some balance beams, pumpkins of course (~$11-24 for most), a beautiful garden/nursery area where I bought some healthy marigolds for $3.50! And a lovely gift shop as well as a cute outdoor cafe area and bathrooms on site. There’s a tiny chicken coop on-site with feather-feet chickens. Wonderful place, looked to be dog on leash friendly (3 were present).

Whether you are entering your golden years or entering your first year, Summers Past Farm is awesome. A cool field, stream, chicken coop keep the little ones busy while the store, coffee shop, and cafe area allow you to sit back and relax with friends. The store is full of festive items. All in all it's a great free place to enjoy!

What a magical little place about 30 mins from SD. Loved everything about it. Great little cafe with refreshing drinks and a really cute gift shop. So much charm in the garden areas and plenty of space for little ones to run around. I'll definitely be back.

I love this place! I felt like I was sitting in a secret garden. It is literally the cutest place I've been to in San Diego! If you are looking for a relaxing place this is the place to go! Their shop has a variety of cute items. The kids loved exploring the farm and playing in their sandbox. Their lemonade was delicious!! I am looking forward to going again.

Earlier this month I just happened upon a brief news story online about this place, which I found out has been around for 30 years. I've been in East County much longer and never new this place existed! So of course had to go check it the very next weekend, and so glad we did! What a beautiful place to spend an hour or so and just take in the surroundings. So peaceful and a perfect area to take some nice pictures. There is an outdoor snack bar with seating area to kick back and enjoy a nice ice-cold beverage or snack. It was hot (Aug) and there was plenty of shaded areas to sit. The store has a little something for everyone, is set-up nicely, and their prices are fair. Very sweet and friendly woman at the register, who may have been the owner, and she added the most amazing smelling sample soaps to our bag.Definitely recommend and we will be back. Even the hubby enjoyed it and found something to get!

Came all the way from Las Vegas for my maternity shoot and let me say this is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. The natural wildlife habitat was filled with bees and butterflies and the flowers were gorgeous. The Lavender lemonade was also a must. The women in the shop were absolutely lovely and i got some amazing soaps and the face wash soap bar is amazing so far. Would 100% come if you're coming into the area or ever need flowers and plants.

Cute little spot for all ages. They have a sandbox the young kids love & the flowers are gorgeous in bloom right now! They have a flower maze that’s so neat & different. Looks like it would be a nice event venue as well. It’s a bit of a drive (30-45mins) from San Diego but if you’re out this way it’s worth going!

This nursery is very super cute!I used to come and wanted to just hang out, now I can. They have a snack bar with interesting drinks and some snacks. I wish they had healthier options with less sugar syrups and even healthier food options. But honestly I came for plants. Ok, on the plants, not very many plants anymore. Like 3 or 4 small tables only. Only a small corner with seeds. The gift shop is adorable There's even a cutting garden where you can pay to go outside and clip some flowers to take home. There's a nice green space that a small group of Moms use to let their kids play and socialize, maybe have a snack while the Moms get their coffee drinks or lavender lemonade. Overall it's a cool vibe and I love to visit, I always find something to buy too. Haha.

Went to the 30 year anniversary celebration, featuring an Antique and Craft show. The flowers were in bloom and the mood was light. Always a joy to go back to the garden at Symmers Past.

We spent a lovely afternoon with friends, sipping coffee and lavender lemonade (my favorite). It was so pretty, with chickens, gardens, and the "Kissing Bridge."
