Alec and the entire team at Kia-El Cajon were terrific! Offered a very fair price for my used vehicle and we drove away in a new car, lower payment, and only a few more months on the new loan. Alec was realistic about what we needed, listened to what we were hoping to accomplish, and exceeded all expectations!

First off, love the car. Got a kia Telluride. Also love the sales man, Cody Stoecker.
The one star review is for management.
We will get into my experience- then California consumer protection laws.
Vehicle was listed at $41,995.00. According to Consumer law, the advertised price must include any dealer markups. There are mandatory fees such as taxes licensing etc,
But add ons such as fabric protection - windshield protection etc, should clearly be marketed as add ons, and the buyer has the right to opt out.
This is not the marketing strategy of this dealer. During the sale, they informed me that a set list of add ons “comes with purchase” and is “included in the price.” So nothing really stood out to me until I was in the finance office signing paperwork. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the $50,000.00 total, complete with all sorts of non-mandatory add ons.
I immediately called for the manager. He came in, I asked him to remove them, and I swear on everything I have, my husband as my witness, that he said to me “you can’t opt out of these add ons” (approximately $5,000 of bs add ons) I explained to him that I didn’t know they were added costs as they were clearly marketed to me as “included in the price” he again said, “I’m sorry we cant remove them.”
That type of marketing is grounds for a Consumer Protection lawsuit. ALL non mandatory add ons should be clearly marketed as supplemental- the buyer understanding they have the right to opt out. ALL DEALER MARKUPS should be reflected in the LISTING PRICE.
I hope the right person sees this review. It’s a rather dangerous game to play- probably not good in the long run to put your dealership at risk of being sued with every sale. I’d probably fire whoever is implementing that strategy. Huge liability to tell consumers to their face they can’t remove non mandatory add ons.
For customers reading this, filing a complaint with the FTC is completely free- you can upload your sales contract and any other supporting documentation.
Anyway. Love the car 😄 Very happy with it

I bought a brand new car from Team Kia of El Cajon, and Yaz was my salesman he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I would hire him in a hot second. He made us feel like family and was even willing to go pick up my son to go the extra mile. He was funny, kind and showed us his human side. That to me is how we bond with others and make buying a car easier and more enjoyable. I will 10/10 recommend Yaz!!! Team Kia of El Cajon is lucky to have him on their team. Go check out the new 2025 Telluride it’s the best car and I did my research for months. They have the best warranty, the car feels like luxury and it’s totally worth every penny. I am very grateful that I went here and bought this car from Yaz!

My family and I recently went to Kia with the hopes of looking for a new car and automatically fell in love with the Kia K4. As soon as we walked into the place, Eduardo was the first person to greet us and stayed with us throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain every detail about the car, answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt confident with our decision. We were then helped by Robert along with Eduardo, who both did an amazing job helping us find a great deal on the car. They both stayed with us after closing hours and made sure they answered all our questions and even talked about the best tacos spots in Tijuana . We honestly had the best time with them and walked out with a brand new 2025 kia k4. I highly recommend Eduardo and Robert, they both are amazing people and make you feel at home right away!!

I went to go schedule a scheduled service interval for a newer Kia and the website is just terrible. Please go look at Kearney Mesa Kia's website and notice how you just have to enter in your name and the vehicle details on one page, and they text/email appt confirmation right away.
Please do not let technology get in the way of a good user experience.
EDIT: the response is not accurate or helpful. The site requires you to enter a bunch of personal information and sign up for an account. Totally not necessary to book a service appointment. I encourage you to revisit your approach.
